Season 31 of Survivor returns with 20 new contestants who may look a bit familiar to viewers. The 20 contestants have been chosen by you, the fans, from previous seasons of Survivor. Survivor: Cambodia Second Chances is all about being the ‘sole survivor.’
As the contestants arrive we hear from them how they have changed since the first time they appeared on Survivor with each of them revealing how their elimination has haunted them! Because hindsight is 20/20. It’s all about the million dollars this time around. Too many regrets from the first time and everyone is trying to get past the regrets and be the ‘sole survivor.’
The tribes are announced:
Bayon Tribe (Red)
Takeo Tribe (Blue)
The castaways begin their journey by jumping off their boats and heading to the boat that Jeff is on to gather supplies for their camps and put it on a raft. They have to decide between two boats – one with rice or the one with the other supplies. Wiglesworth decide to attempt to swim to the raft with the rice. With both tribes having castaways in the water, it is Woo who gets to the rice first and he wins rice for the Ta Keo Tribe!
TaKeo gets to camp first and time to start building shelter and getting things setup. There is already a divide among the team with Terry saying how old school and new school Survivor is different and while some of the old school Survivors are working on setting up camp, the new school Survivors are a lot more social. Abi is freaking out because she lost her bag and is freaking out because she needs her bracelets.
Over at Bayon Tribe, they are building their camp, as well. Jeremy is busy working on his game – talking to Keith, then Tasha and Andrew and finally Joe. Too much too soon? Trying to get an alliance and he just got there?
Back at the TaKeo tribe, Vytas is trying to work it with the women. Shirin is not a fan of TaKeo and tells Jeff and Joe about it.
Abi has found her bracelet and it’s shocking – it is inside Peih-Gee’s bag. While Abi said she wasn’t going to say anything about it, she tells everyone. This is sure to be a fight between Abi and Peih-Gee. Why would Peih-Gee take the bracelet?
Over at the Bayon Tribe, they are working on trying to get a fire started. Stephen goes out to get wood, but decides to look for an idol instead. While he was away, Joe got the fire started!
It is the second day and Jeff is unsure of where he stands with his tribe. He feels like he has never played this game before and he and Peih-Gee are both torn between old school and new school.
