Jay Leno returned to late night television in time to make jokes about politicians like Hillary Clinton, Jeb Bush, Bernie Sanders, and presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Jimmy began the show, like he normally does, with a couple of jokes before claiming he hurt his hamstring and needed ‘to sub out.’ The sub for the monologue was none other than Jay Leno. Leno made jokes about Ralph Nader still being alive, the Kardashians, Bernie Sanders and much more!

Jimmy and Jay joined forces to tell jokes about how bad the economy is with jokes like,
“The economy is so bad, 50 Cent just changed his name to Nickelback”
“The economy is so bad I saw Wolf Gang Puck eating Chef-Boyardee”

Jimmy Fallon replaced Jay Leno on The Tonight Show when Leno retired from “The Tonight Show” in February 2014. This isn’t Leno’s first time returning to his old stomping ground, as he previously returned to the series nearly a year ago. In November 2014, Leno performed a standup routine, as well as sat down for an interview with Fallon.

Jay Leno’s appearance happens to be just as Jay is setting to premiere his new television show, “Jay Leno’s Garage,” on CNBC.
