Jimmy Fallon Injures Other Hand in Fall While Drinking – Is Rehab Needed?
Jimmy Fallon was celebrating his award from Harvard Lampoon, where he was honored by the Harvard University’s humor magazine when he tripped and fell while holding a bottle of Jaegermeister. The fall resulted in a trip to the local Massachusetts General Hospital.
The late night talk show host hurt his right hand only four months after he badly injured his left hand following a fall in June. The injury to his left hand was so serious he ended up in ICU and almost lost his finger.
While at Harvard, Fallon was honored with the Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor, which is the first time the prize has been awarded this century.
Following the ceremony, Fallon was celebrating in the local bar, where an onlooker caught the incident on video. Jimmy is seen being handed a beer and when he walked away he tripped and fell with the beer in his hand. Fallon is taking the incident lightly, posting to Instagram a photo of his finger with a band-aid on it saying,
“Nothing that a few band aids couldn’t fix.”
The incident didn’t stop Fallon from partying as he was seen later on partying with his hand heavily bandaged.
Jimmy had been partying earlier in the day at a restaurant.
Either Fallon has horrible luck or he is in serious need of rehab. What do you think? This is his third accident since June. The first incident was during a fall, where he almost had his finger amputated, the second incident was when he chipped his tooth and the most recent incident.
Is it just a whole bunch of bad luck or should Jimmy Fallon address his drinking? Has it become too much for the comedian/late night talk show host to handle?
