Adam Levine teams up with John Fogerty, Blake Shelton with Brad Paisley, Gwen Stefani with Selena Gomez, and Pharrell Williams with Missy Elliot.

In this phase, the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet. After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest, and has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach. Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds where their artists will proceed to the knockout rounds.

We have the spoilers for The Voice Battle Rounds here and check out the recap for the first round of The Voice Battle Rounds here.

We will be updating the judges comments and who won the battle rounds so be sure to come back!

Who will be singing tonight during the Battle Rounds?

Team Gwen

Alex Kandel vs Kota Wade
Song: “It’s My Life” by Talk Talk & No Doubt

Jeffrey Austin vs Noah Jackson
Song: “Can’t Feel my Face” by The Weeknd

We didn’t get to see these battles play out, but Gwen kept Kota Wade and Jeffrey Austin!

Team Blake

Chris Crump vs Krista Hughes
Song: “When I Get Where I Am Going” by Brad Paisley
Results:Pharrell kicked it off saying that Chris had a “super strong” voice and said he would pick him. Gwen said she got goosebumps all over her body and their voices blended “so well,” but if she had to choose she would also choose Chris. Adam said that Krista “lost control of the range a little bit” but said overall they are both two of the best. Blake finished it up by saying that they both did amazing, and that although Krista hit some tough spots she did an amazing job of taking the song and making it fit her voice – but ultimately he agreed with the other judges and gave it to Chris.

Team Pharrell

Ivonne Acero vs Siahna Im
Song: “You Keep Me Hanging On” by The Supremes
Results: Gwen kicked it off by saying she didn’t know who she would pick because they were both great, while Adam said that on both sides there were things to work on vocally but there’s “a world of potential” for both of them. Blake said that Siahna is “the worst she’s ever going to be – and she’s already awesome.” (BTW, I haven’t picked a favorite for any of these performances tonight – but I am pulling for Siahna!) Pharrell, of course, has the final say. He said Ivonne had a great performance and that there was “so much potential” on stage, but ultimately declared Siahna the winner of this battle and sent her through to the knock-out rounds.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL! Gwen swooped in for the steal, and then Blake threw his hat into the ring… so now Ivonne gets to choose which team she wants to join.

Gwen said that Ivonne can’t be on Blake’s team, and that she thinks Ivonne was “always meant to be on her team” because Gwen has already lived her dream. She also pulled the female card, saying that now it’s time for her to be coached by a woman. Blake countered by telling Ivonne to “stop that crying right now” and said they should talk about things they have in common – they were both on the show last year, and both on the show this year. And then something about cantaloupes on five acres of farm land… he lost me with that one. Adam chimed in, reminding Ivonne that Gwen initially turned around for her during the Blind Auditions, but Blake didn’t.

After thinking about it for a second Ivonne decided to join Team Blake (which is shocking to me because I thought Gwen had some great arguments).

Madi Davis vs Sydney Rhame
Song: “Riptide” by Vance Joy

Team Adam

Keith Semple vs Manny Cabo
Song: Baba O’Riley by The Who
Results: Blake kicked things off, saying that Keith was “so good” and said it was one of the best battles they’ve ever had on the show. Pharrell said they could both make an album right now because they’re both “great.” Gwen said it was “so good” and Adam finished things off saying that he had a really hard time watching them because it was “like a tennis match – it just kept going back and forth.” Ultimately, though, he picked Keith as the winner of the battle, which means Manny has met the end of the road.

And that is that folks! Be sure to tune in next Monday night!
