How the “Fast and Furious” Cast Honored Paul Walker On the Second Anniversary of His Death

It’s never easy to lose a loved one but the cast of the “Fast and the Furious” franchise is proving that they are family until the end. As it approached the two-year anniversary since Paul Walker was killed in a tragic car accident, his co-stars Vin Diesel and Tyrese Gibson did their best to honor the actor who was like a brother to them. Though his teenage daughter Meadow along with other members of the Walker family have tried to sue Porsche for the accident, they have said that they cannot be responsible for the incident in which Walker, who was forty when he passed, knew the risks. He was known as a daredevil and always had a need for speed which is why he played his character so well. Tyrese, 36 posted a photo of he and Walker with the caption that read: “It’s still not easy…… 2 years ago today… We lost our brother….. Today I’m just gonna lay low and process….. Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for. With a heavy heart I post this….. Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day…. They’re some of the best and strongest people I know…… I know you’re in heaven smiling and rooting for us all.”

We all remember the image of Tyrese when he was standing at the crash site, looking so pained by what had happened. Vin Diesel also referred to Paul as a brother as he named his daughter Pauline, in honor of Walker. He, like Gibson, posted a photo along with Walker with the caption: “No matter where you are in the universe…You will always be my brother.” The photo was superimposed but said “Brotherhood has no limits.” But naming his daughter after the late actor was a no-brainer for Diesel: “He was in the room [when she was born]. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just … knew he was there. It felt like a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world.” Our thoughts and prayers are with those who loved him on this very sad yet special day where he is being honored in the best way possible.
