Mary-Kate Olsen is not little Michelle Tanner from “Full House” anymore. The entrepreneur and twin to Ashley Olsen who played the youngest Tanner for almost a decade now have one major thing that differentiates them: Mary-Kate, 29 is now married. The actress/fashion designer/entrepreneur wed fiancé Olivier Sarkozy in a Manhattan ceremony this past Friday, the 27th, according to Us Weekly. It was a private ceremony for the very low-key couple and included around fifty guests. The couple have been together for over three years and the biggest issue that they have faced is the age difference between the two: Mary-Kate is twenty-nine while Olivier is forty-six. The two share an almost seven million dollar pad in New York City as the Olsen twins were set to attend New York University several years ago. Some more big news for Mary-Kate this year was the Netflix reboot of “Full House” which was renamed “Fuller House.” No one knew if either twin would appear on the show but the newlywed already has a fuller house. Olivier brings in two children from ex-wife Charlotte Bernard.

According to a source: “Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids’ special events. She thinks he’s a great dad.” So who is Olivier exactly? He is the half-brother of the former French President, which is pretty amazing in my book. As to whether or not any of Olsen’s co-stars such as Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos or Jodie Sweetin were in attendance, that we have yet to learn. What is next for the couple is also up in the air. Though Olivier has kids already, Mary-Kate does not so she may be interested in that or she may return to acting or focus on fashion. Yes, the age difference is a little odd as I think we all see her as little Michelle Tanner but we have to remember that she is a grown woman and we hope that they have a life filled with much happiness and love.
