'the voice top 12 perform 11/16/15'

See what the members of Team Pharrell Williams, Team Gwen Stefani, Team Blake Shelton and Team Adam Levine will be performing below!

Team Pharrell

Evan McKeel
Song: “Smile”
Judges’ Comments: Gwen said that she thought it was magical, while Blake said that he loved the b-roll that we got to see (the bits of practice shown before the performance) and said it was “really good.” Pharrell said he “sounded great like he always does” but said the difference in today’s performance was that he “let people in.”

Madi Davis
Song: “Love Is Blindness”
Judges’ Comments: Adam said he loved it and there’s “too much to say in 10 seconds,” while Blake said that it might be the best performance of the night. Pharrell wrapped it up by saying “I mean….. yeah. Please give it up.” (I’m realizing that for all of his awesome song writing and producing, Pharrell isn’t very articulate.)

Team Gwen

Braiden Sunshine
Song: “True” by Spandau Ballet
Judges’ Comments: Blake declared it “just odd enough of a song choice,” and said Gwen and Braiden being paired up is one of his favorite things on the show ever. Pharrell congratulated Braiden on his performance and said that he knows they’re trying to make people forget he’s 15 years old, but that’s part of what makes him even more impressive. Gwen finished things off by saying it was “so cute and so perfect.”

Korin Bukowski
Song: “Only Hope” by Mandy Moore
Judges’ Comments: Adam said that one of the most important things for an artist is finding their identity as a singer, and he feels that Gwen has really helped Korin do that very well. Pharrell said Korin didn’t seem nervous at all tonight, and she’s definitely coming in to her own. Gwen wrapped it up saying she’s really happy that Korin is getting this moment to “shine.” (I’d like to take this time to note that, from what I heard, not one of the judges said whether or not they thought she sang the song well…)

Jeffery Austin
Song: “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn
Judges’ Comments: Adam said there is something about Jeffery’s voice that just can’t be taught or coached, while Blake said that with Jeffery on Gwen’s team she might be the first female coach to win The Voice. Gwen finished off by saying that she was moved to tears and blown away.

Team Blake

Barrett Baber
Judges’ Comments: Gwen kicked things off, saying that Barrett was commanding the whole room, and that his performance is “beyond the singing.” Adam said he could tell it was great in part by how Blake cheered for him, and then said that Barrett is “awesome, dude.” Blake wrapped it up by saying that it was “such a great night” for him and that he “just took us all the church.”

Emily Ann Roberts
Song: “Why Not Me” by The Judds
Judges’ Comments: Pharrell started off by saying that he isn’t familiar with country music but Emily Ann makes it “abundantly clear” that those are classic country songs because her voice has a very classic feel. Blake batted second, saying that she’ll be around for a long, long time.

Zach Seabaugh
Song: “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” by Thompson Square
Judges’ Comments: Gwen kicked it off by saying that doing a song like that is cheating because he already has the teenage girl vote, and then she said that if he were to make a record he should definitely record that song. Adam said it’s a shame the girls don’t like him (as they screamed at the top of their lungs in the audience), and said that “all the cute stuff aside – he has the chops.” Coach Blake wrapped it up by saying that this was a big night for him, and that he “has some Elvis in him.”

Team Adam
