Gwen Stefani lucked out in the boyfriend department when it comes to former “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton. Not only do they seem smitten with one another, which was clear during the season nine live episodes but they have also taken to each others families. Gwen, 46 went home with Blake, 39 to meet his mother Dorothy in Oklahoma. At the same time, Blake helped out Gwen’s father Dennis so it appears that the parents are accepting of the relationship. Snapshots have been taken of Blake facetiming with Gwen and her sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo from her marriage to Gavin Rossdale but how are the boys feeling about mommy moving on? It has been reported that Gavin is seeing the family nanny which was the reason for the divorce filing. As for Blake, he and Gwen have supposedly been friends for a long while now so maybe he was already familiar with her children before they made their love official. A source spoke to People Magazine about his relationship with her boys, ages ranging from two to nine and this is what they had to say: “Blake loves kids and has been having a lot of fun when he spends time with Gwen’s kids. They adore him.”

But do not call him step-daddy just yet as the source revealed what the status of the Stefani/Shelton relationship is: “They’re just having fun and enjoying each other. There’s no pressure. They’ve been able to support and relate to each other and have gotten through a very difficult and now triumphant time in their lives.” The fact that he is spending time with her boys is a huge deal and the idea that they are having fun with him makes the transition a lot easier for both the couple and the kids. Blake, who divorced Miranda Lambert, 32 this past summer after four years, has no children so this is his first time playing dad and he seems to have taken very well to it. I am excited to see what happens with  the holidays coming up in just a few days! Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter @haveuheard1.
