“Pretty Little Liars” may be coming to an end next year after seven seasons but one of the cast members has something big to look forward to in 2016. Chad Lowe, who plays Aria’s father Byron Montgomery on the hit show (formerly on ABCFamily; now Freeform) is expecting his third child. The actor, 47 made the big announcement via Twitter saying: “My wife @ikimlowe and I are thrilled to announce that our family is growing! Baby number 3 due this spring! #Blessed!” Chad and his wife, Kim have two daughters named Fiona who is three and Mabel who is six. Lowe spoke with People about his growing family and this is what he had to say: “We are so thrilled that our family is growing. Mabel and Fiona can’t wait to be big sisters…Kim and I are studying up on zone defense.” The couple has been together for nearly nine years and prior to their marriage, Lowe was married to Academy Award winner Hilary Swank whom he was with for nearly a decade. His older brother is actor Rob Lowe and he is no newbie to popular shows.

Chad was first recognized widely as Kellie Martin’s HIV positive boyfriend on “Life Goes On” as Jesse McKenna, which garnered him a Primetime Emmy in 1993. He then went on to act on shows such as “Melrose Place“and “24” but has been a fixture on “Pretty Little Liars” since 2010, replacing Alexis Denisof in the role. Denisof is married to former “How I Met Your Mother” star Alyson Hannigan. Last month, Lowe and family stood by brother Rob as he received a star on the Walk of Fame; Rob made his name in films such as “The Outsiders,” “St. Elmo’s Fire,” “Wayne’s World” and currently, the television show “The Grinder.” We are so excited for the expanding Lowe family and cannot wait to see photos when their new bundle of joy joins the world next year. It will definitely be a great distraction from the ending of “Pretty Little Liars” as we fans are all mourning that loss but are super happy for their cast as it is growing by the day.
