American Idol Premiere Recap 1/12/10 (video)
American Idol kicked off Season 9 with auditions in Boston and they didn’t disappoint. The contestants ranged from certifiable to very talented.
Victoria Beckham was the first guest judge in Beantown, joining Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi. Ellen DeGeneres will be joining the judges after the audition episodes. She is taking Paula Abdul’s vacant seat.
