Have U Heard??

The top five Idol contestants are: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, Matt Giraud, Allison Iraheta , and Dan Gokey.  Which means my prediction was finally correct, Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai,  went home tonight as a result of the double elimination tonight.  Finishing at 6th and 7th is quite an accomplishment when competiting against hundreds of thousands.

Lil Rounds, the 24-year-old mother of three from Memphis sang Chaka Khan’s “I’m Every Woman”, during last nights performance show for which she received the least amount of votes. Judge Simon Cowell said,  ”I’m actually going to miss your family screaming at us every week”.

Anoop Desai gave an encore of “Dim the Lights” after revealed he was eliminated.

Last season’s Idol runner-up, David Archuleta told the contestants, after his energetic performance as the guest tonight, ”the are so many opportunities even after this, it’s amazing…alot of people didn’t have to go all the way to live their dreams”.
