Beyonce Knowles attended the national “Show Your Helping Hand” hunger relief initiative kickoff at Madison Square Garden in New York on Monday afternoon (June 22).
Beyonce joined Hamburger Helper for the charity drive – with a stated goal to “help Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger relief charity, deliver more than 3.5 million meals to local food banks.”
According to the charity’s Web site, “you can get involved by submitting codes on specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper, donating groceries at Beyoncé’s concerts in cities across the U.S., or by donating directly to Feeding America.”
Beyonce later took the stage at Madison Square Garden for the second of a two-night concert run in New York.
