Big Brother Recap August 6, 2009

This week, Russell was crowned the HOH after a brutal competition where the 2 surviors, Jeff and Russell, cut a deal to end their suffering. Russell agreed to keep Jeff and Jordan safe, and put Ronnie up on the block. Muscle-man Russell kept his word and put Ronnie and Lydia up for eviction.
The houseguests, realizing that Michelle is the swing vote in a divided house, started to work her over to get her to vote out Lydia. To make matters worse for Ronnie’s alliance (Jesse, Natalie and Chima), Michelle won the power of veto and did not change the nominations.
The house was very tense and Russell was growing very paranoid getting into heated arguments with Michelle and Chima over ‘he said she said’ accusations.
Meanwhile, in a hilarious scene in a dark bedroom, cutie Jeff was trying to make the moves on Jordan when in comes Ronnie. Ronnie proceeded to gab away only stopping to fart. Jeff was a bit annoyed, saying that Ronnie was one of those guys, you know a c–k blocker. But Jeff vowed to try again once Ronnie was evicted.
Disappointed in the bedroom but thrilled with America’s Choice, Jeff was given the Coup d’Etat , which allows him to over ride the HOH’s choice of nominees, this week or next. Wisely, Jeff did not use it, and by a vote of 4 to 3 Ronnie was sent home, but not before telling Michelle he hated her and she is the worst person he every had the displeasure of meeting. Ouch!!
The competition for HOH began soon after the eviction. The houseguests played a trivia game about a recording they heard earlier in the week. The winner of the HOH was Chima. I am not a huge fan of Chima, but it should be very interesting to see what happens with Jeff’s Coup d’Etat .
Any predictions about who Chima will nominate?? I’m thinking Russell and Michelle.
