Brad Pitt, Angelia Jolie, Beyonce, Jay-Z and Other Top Earning Celebrity Couples in 2009
Forbes has come out with their list of the top-earning couples in Hollywood. The list is based on how much the partners earned collectively between June 2008 and June 2009. The amount of money these couples earn is astounding!!
Forbes takes into account record sales, movie salaries, touring, merchandising and endorsement deals.
Jay-Z and Beyonce earned a total of $122 million with Beyonce being the bread winner. She earned $87 million, while Jay-Z earned $35 million. The economy wasn’t easy on the power couple – last year they topped the list with $162 million.
Ranking second is Harrison Ford and gal pal Calista Flockhart. The couple earned a combined $69 million.
Hollywood’s hottest couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie landed in third with $65 million.
Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi got the No. 6 spot for earning $36 million. However, their number is expected to rise due to Ellen’s judging talent on “American Idol.” Simon’s loss may just be Ellen’s gain??
Other celebrities to make it to the list were Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Eva Longoria Parker and Tony Parker, Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley, and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
