In celebration of Bloomingdale’s Roosevelt Field’s newly renovated store, Taryn Rose and Elle Magazine will host a personal appearance by Carol Alt on Saturday, April 25, 1pm -3pm. Ms. Alt, a native Long Islander, is known as a model, actress, author and recent contestant on Donald Trump’s 2008 TV show The Celebrity Apprentice.
On April 25th, at Bloomingdale’s Roosevelt Field, shoppers who purchase a pair of Taryn Rose shoes will receive a special gift bag including Carol’s book “This Year’s Model.” In addition, Bloomingdale’s will be donating 10% of sales from Taryn Rose shoes purchased that day to the Tony Alt Memorial Foundation. Carol’s brother, Tony Alt, died unexpectedly in 2005 and the Foundation was created to raise funds for underprivileged children to continue their education.
