Celebrity Dads | Father’s Day

Patrick Dempsey and Family
dad-damon

In honor of Father’s Day on Sunday, we wanted to show you some of our favorite celebrity dads with their kids. Since you may be thinking of your dad or maybe the father of your children, we included a poem about dads.

What Makes a Dad

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle’s flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so,

He called it … Dad

Rachael Ray attends Gracie Awards (Video)

June 4th, 2009 Shari Posted in Celebrity Events, Events 1 Comment »

Have U Heard had the pleasure of attending the Gracie Awards last night, June 3, 2009.

Along with the awesome photos – we were also able to capture some video footage of the event.  The video has a lot of noise but we were able to capture Rachael Ray’s charming personality while she was discussing how her and husband, John Cusimano, got engaged.

In the video the couple discuss how Rachael’s husband threw a box at her and she had no clue what it was.  She thought it was a key ring since she always lost her keys.  Neither of them could recall what he even said.

More videos to come later.

Tamarama – Benefit Concert

March 24th, 2009 Cathy Posted in Events No Comments »

tamarama

We had the pleasure of meeting Tamarama’s Jay Lyon and Nicolas “Pottsy” Potts at the One Is Greater Than None Benefit Concert Friday night. The very handsome and very sweet Aussie boys performed for an enthusiastic crowd at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Tamarama, takes their name from a little known Australian beach where they grew up. Tamarama is now based in NYC, far from the tranquil settings of their old stomping grounds, but their vibe has never strayed too far from the beaches at home where the memories feed the music. The new surroundings and it’s diversity have helped develop their sound, broaden their influences and deepen their style, not to mention given them a solid local and celebrity following in the US.

Tamarama gave an outstanding performance at the Benefit, they are definitely worth taking a listen to, so I included a video, if you haven’t already had the pleasure. Let us know what you think.
