Mischa Barton, Corbin Bleu, SaraPaxton, Nico Tortorella and Ashley Madekwe along with executive producer Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore, headed to New York’s Meatpacking District to celebrate the upcoming premiere of “The Beautiful Life: TBL” on Wednesday (September 16).

The Beautiful Life, filmed in New York, is about models trying to make it in the cutthroat fashion world in NYC, may be all about the glamour, but one of the stars confessed that her life these days is about nothing but work.

“Oh my gosh! I mostly have been working my butt off,” Paxton, wearing a graffiti design minidress, told MTV News on the carpet. “I mean, our hours are insane. My call time on Monday is at 4 a.m. So I spend hours working — I have very little time to explore.”

I’m curious to watch this one – anyone else plan on watching it??

Director Tyler Perry, Ashton Kutcher and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg were among the star-studded crowd that gathered in Times Square on Thursday to unveil the “I PARTICIPATE” initiative that calls on Americans to re-commit themselves to serving the country through volunteering.

EIF’s multi-year “I PARTICIPATE” will get support from all the major broadcast networks.  Its centerpiece this year is a week-long TV event running Oct. 19-25 that will see ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC as well as other networks putting the spotlight on the themes of service and volunteerism via popular scripted programs, special segments and PSAs.

Among the hit shows participating are “American Idol,” “Private Practice,” “Ugle Betty” and “The Good Wife.”

The initiative follows EIF’s “Stand Up to Cancer” event last year. Its PSAs feature such Hollywood stars as Gwyneth Paltrow and Matthew McConaughey.

Thursday’s kickoff also featured other big names from the entertainment world, such as Demi Moore, Randy Jackson, Tim Daly, Michelle Trachtenberg, Christine Baranski, Katie Couric, Fran Drescher, Kenneth Cole, plus more than 100 volunteers.

The premiere of Sorority Row took place last night in LA.   Rumer Willis, Audrina Patridge, and Demi Moore all wore black for the special occasion.

Willis arrived accompanied by her boyfriend Micah Alberti and celebrity mother Demi Moore.

A remake of the 1983 movie “The House on Sorority Row”, “Sorority Row” follows five sorority girls as they inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong. Hoping to get on with their lives, they make an agreement to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again. However, they find out right after graduation that their lives are at stakes. The horror thriller comes out in theaters across the U.S. next Friday, September 11.

 Perez Hilton is at it again.  He took to his blog to ask his one million plus followers if he should sue Demi Moore.   Below you will find the war of words on twitter between the two.

Moore is clearly upset about Hilton linking to a photo of Tallulah Willis that shows a pair of revealing shorts.  There was another article with photos of Tallulah at her sister’s birthday party holding a pack of cigarettes where Hilton questions Moore’s parenting.

Wow!!  That had to be scary.

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore had a scare tonight when their airplane was forced to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas after the engine apparently overheated.

The two were flying to New York following the Las Vegas premiere of Kutcher’s latest movie, Spread, at the Palms Casino Resort.   Neither actor was injured.

Moments after the sudden landing, Kutcher reported the incident on Twitter, writing,

“My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere good times.” He later posted an update saying he was “happy to be alive” and adding that he wanted to celebrate at the Turtle Bay Bar.

Moore also posted about the incident on her Twitter account.

“Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all,” she wrote.

Ashton Kutcher and Sean (P.Diddy) Combs hosted a star-studded party for July 4, 2009.  The party a.k.a., The White Party, was a benefit for Malaria No More held in Los Angeles. 

Malaria No More and partners fund teams to go into each country and determine the actual need for mosquito nets, medicine, spraying and health infrastructure so that the global community can target resources effectively.

Some of the guests included Chris Brown, Melanie Brown, Tom Greene, Tara Reid, Kloe Kardashian and many more.

As always,  Ashton Kutcher added a bit of fun to the party by taking someone up on a dare that he couldn’t swing across the pool.  Check out the video of Ashton auditioning for Cirque Du Soleil.

Will Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher take Simon Cowell up on his offer to fly them out to see Susan Boyle perform on Britain’s Got Talent live finale??

Demi Moore  helped to boost Susan Boyle’s profile in the U.S. after taking to her Twitter.com page to rave about the singer’s performance.
Twitter is once again playing a part in the Moore/Boyle relationship. 

Amanda Holden, a judge for Britain’s Got Talent invited Moore and Kutcher via twitter to the finale.  First she offered Simon Cowell’s jet but then offered first class flight tickets and a stay at London’s Dorchester hotel instead.

Holden wrote to the Moore,

Moore later replied, “What no private plane? lol (laugh out loud) Generous offer! Thank you! And thank Simon!”

Boyle’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent has become the most watched video on YouTube.com of all time with more than 100 million views.
