With the help of Hollywood’s A-list manning the phones, including Jack Nicholson, Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, Mel Gibson and Reese Witherspoon, the telethon raised more than $57 million.

This broke the record for the largest amount ever raised by a telethon and the sum will continue to grow through the iTunes sales from some of the amazing performances at the event.  Madonna, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and Bono were among some of the stars that lent their voice to this worthy cause.

George Clooney attended the premiere of his latest movie, ‘Up in The Air’ with his latest girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis and the other favorite woman in his life – his mother.

The premiere was a star-studded event with co-stars Jason Bateman and Vera Farmiga in attendance along with friends Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford.  Is it me or do you think that Cindy Crawford and Elisabetta Canalis bare a striking resemblance??

Up in The Air opens on Christmas Day.
