Angelina Jolie looked stunning as she filmed a scene with Johnny Depp for The Tourist on Tuesday (March 2) in Venice, Italy.

The 34-year-old actress waved and blew kisses while standing on a balcony of the historic building overlooking the Palazzo Pisani-Moretta and the Grand Canal.  It looks like Johnny is preparing to enter the balcony as he stands in the background of the photo. 

The Tourist is about an American tourist (Depp) drawn into a web of intrigue and danger by a female Interpol agent (Jolie) as she attempts to locate a criminal who was once her lover.

The world premiere of Alice in Wonderland took place in London last night, February 25, 2010 with Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and the rest of the cast meeting up with Prince Charles in Leicester Square.

The screening of Alice in Wonderland was put on in aid of the Prince’s Foundation for Children and the Arts, a group that tries to introduce young people to what the arts have to offer. The Foundation is part of the Prince’s Trust charities.

The movie features Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Australian rising star Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Little Britain star Matt Lucas who plays Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Anne Hathaway stated, ”This is Alice ten years later…when she goes to wonderland she’s experiencing a return to self and I think it’s a wonderful take on it.”

Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter in the Tim Burton epic 3D fantasy adventure Alice in Wonderland. The 46-year-old actor is interviewed about his Mad Hatter portrayal in an extended Alice In Wonderland featurette.

The film is set for release on March 5. On February 19, MySpace will be hosting an event with Tim Burton including musical acts from the upcoming album Almost Alice and a sneak peek at new footage. Enjoy the featurette below.

Johnny Depp won the 2010 People’s Choice Award for the Best Actor of the Decade.

Sacha Baron Cohen presented the honor to Johnny Depp who accepted the award wearing ripped jeans.  Depp stated,

“I’m deeply humbled by this honor….it has been quite an amazing decade.  An incredible ride and I sincerely thank you all for bestowing upon me all your great treasures.  Thank you.”

 

Johnny Depp spent a couple of hours at a Christmas party on Saturday (Dec. 19),  at the Shamrock Tattoo shop on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood.  The sexy superstar brought some gifts for the toy drive and is rumored to have gotten another tattoo.

People Magazine has announced the much anticipated Sexiest Man Alive.   Johnny Depp is 2009’s Sexiest Man Alive.

Depp is no stranger to the title - he also scored the honor in 2003.   Depp has joined an elite club of two-time SMA title holders (only Brad Pitt and George Clooney have matched the feat). 

 At 46, the father of two still reigns as Hollywood’s most irresistible icons.

Joining Depp in the Sexiest Man Alive issue is Bradley Cooper, George Clooney, Gerard Butler, Taylor Lautner, David Beckham, Hugh Jackman (last year’s reigning champ), Ryan Reynolds, Zac Efron, Tom Brady, Brad Pitt, Chris Rock, Robert Pattinson and many more.

Spike TV’s “Scream 2009″ is different from other awards shows. The star-studded event, held Saturday at the Greek Theatre, honors the best in sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comic-inspired movies and TV shows.

Fans voted online for the winners, so some of the year’s most popular programs and big box-office hits took home trophies, including “Transformers,” “Twilight,” “True Blood” and “Star Trek.”

Johnny Depp presented Keith Richards, Rolling Stones Band Member, with the Rock Immortal award.

It was a fan frenzy on Thursday when Johnny Depp showed up to promote his latest film Alice in Wonderland at the 2009 Comic-Con in San Diego.

Johnny Depp has played a pirate, a gangster and an astronaut but undeniably his favorite role is Dad.  Depp displayed that for all his fans to see at Comic-Con Thursday where he was spotted wearing two beaded heart bracelets .  I am familar with these bracelets since I own a couple.   The bracelets are usually given by a child to a special someone as a token of their love.

Depp is known for sporting several macho leather wristbands no matter how formal or casual his attire, but the heart beaded bracelets brought out his softer paternal side.

Johnny is the father of two – Lily-Rose Melody, 10 and Jack, 7 – with girlfriend, French singer Vanessa Paradis.

“I could sit there all day and do nothing but watch them grow,” he said of the kids. “I am totally inspired by them.”
