Kate Beckinsale and pooch Ingrid, were seen picking up her daughter Lily Mo from school in Pacific Palisades, California on Thursday (March 11). 

The 36-year-old actress’s ex-partner, New Moon actor Michael Sheen is Lily’s dad.  The 11-year-old actress has portrayed a young version of her mother in several movies including;  Underworld: Evolution and Everybody’s Fine.

Kate has be married to director Len Wiseman for almost seven years.

Kate Beckinsale and her husband, director Len Wiseman, took their daughter, Lily and her friend ice-skating in Santa Monica on Friday (Nov. 27).

The 36-year-old actress and her 10-year-old daughter seemed very comfortable on the ice while Len could use some practice.

The London native is starring in Everybody’s Fine, along with Robert De Niro, Drew Barrymore and Sam Rockwell, which is set to open in theaters this Friday (Dec.4).

The film is a feel good adventure comedy about a widower (De Niro) who goes on a road trip to reconnect with his grown children.  Lily is making her film debut in Everybody’s Fine, playing a young version of Kate’s character.  Check out the movie trailer below.

Kate Beckinsale, Sam Rockwell, Robert De Niro and Drew Barrymore were seen at the Hollywood Premiere of “Everybody’s Fine” at the 2009 AFI Fest in Los Angeles, November 3.

Last month Kate Beckinsale was named Esquire magazine’s Sexiest Woman Alive taking the reign from Halle Berry.  Beckinsale hates to admit that she is the owner of the title.

She says, “It’s such a nice thing to happen and then immediately it’s mortifying.” she continued, “Somebody came up to me in the street and went ‘are you the sexiest woman alive?’ And I went ‘yes,’ and then I thought, ‘Errrggh I can’t say yes to that!’

“I should be shot on sight for that, it’s awful!”

Awful??  Now that is one humble lady.  Most people would love the title – I’ve heard people called worse than the Most Beautiful Person.

Kate Beckinsale and her 10-year-old daughter Lily were accompanied by some friends and a tiny puppy as they shopped in Pacific Palisades, CA over the weekend.

Beckinsale ran into Desperate Housewife star Marcia Cross earlier in the day. I don’t know if Kate and Marcia knew each other before bumping into each other but they seemed to enjoy each other’s company as they were seen chatting while shopping.

Lily’s father is actor Michael Sheen, who is in the upcoming Twilight film, New Moon, where he plays the role of vampire, Aro. The much-anticipated film hits theaters November 20, 2009.
