Have U Heard??

Katie Holmes was seen attending this year’s Sundance Film Festival solo.  Her husband, Tom Cruise is busy filming a movie.  Thankfully Holmes found plenty of good friends to hang out with at the premiere of her new film, ‘The Romantics,’ including co-stars Josh Duhamel and Malin Akerman!

“We’ve actually stayed in good touch and we all e-mail each other all the time and go to dinner often, and so it’s great to see each other again, and I love these guys so much,” Katie told ET.

In ‘The Romantics,’ Katie stars opposite Josh and Anna Paquin as former college friends caught up in a love triangle.

“This movie is about a group of friends that went to Yale together and they’ve come back together about ten years later for a wedding,” explains Katie. “But at this wedding there’s a lot of unsaid things, and there’s some love stories that are going on that aren’t really appropriate for the wedding. It’s also about that time in your life where you’re stopping and looking again at what am I doing?”

Katie Holmes was out and about before Christmas trying to get in some last minute shopping.

Nothing was going to stop her – and her security made sure of that.  The papparazzi were trying to get their shot of Holmes when Holmes’ security pulled out pepper spray.  Security didn’t use the pepper spray and just threatened the photographers – but this may be a bit extreme??

Katie Holmes, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Rebecca Gayheart and Renee Zellwegger were all seen in California doing some last minute holiday shopping.

I’m not sure what they bought while shopping but here is some extravagent purchases made through the years by some of our favorite celebrities:

Jennifer Aniston spent over $1,000 on three Kaloo plush stuffed animals for Sheryl Crow’s son, according to TMZ.  An alternative to this would be three webkinz for less than $20.

David Beckham once gave wife, Victoria Beckham a diamond necklace valued at $1.2 million dollars.

Maria Carey once sent family and friends Carey brand tights with real diamonds valued at $15,000 per pair.

Sting once gave his wife a decorated Christmas tree valued at $7,000.

Suri Cruise spent some time with her parents in Spain this weekend as Katie Holmes brought her little one to see Daddy, Tom Cruise while he’s shooting on location for Knight and Day.  The trio seemed to have a wonderful time socializing with the crew, and Tom even snuck a quick kiss on Katie’s cheek.

Cruise is co-starring with Cameron Diaz in the film.  Knight and Day is an action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one – even themselves – are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise went to Sevilla, Spain to visit Tom Cruise. On Sunday (Dec. 6), the family enjoyed a day at the park while Tom took a break from filming his new movie ‘Knight and Day’.  Suri looked adorable, dressed in her traditional Spanish flamenco dress and polka dot heels!!

‘Knight and Day’ is an action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple (Cruise and Cameron Diaz) on a glamorous and sometimes deadly adventure where nothing and no one, even themselves, are what they seem. Amid shifting alliances and unexpected betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately hinging on the battle of truth vs. trust.

Katie Holmes takes her daughter Suri Cruise, 3, and big sister Isabella Cruise, 16, on a shopping spree on the Lower East Side of NYC on Sunday (Nov. 22).  One of their stops included the Madewell boutique. 

The actress has been spending time on Long Island while she works on her new movie, The Romantics.  Katie is playing the role of Laura, the maid of honor who has been romantically involved with the groom.  She is also the Executive Producer of the project.

Katie Holmes walked down the aisle when she married Tom Cruise -once again she is walking down the aisle.  Only this time its for her role as a bridesmaid in ‘The Romantics’

Holmes is in Long Island, New York filming ‘The Romantics’ and was snapped filming a scene where she is being escorted down a wedding aisle by actor Elijah Wood.

The actress plays Laura in ‘The Romantics,’ a film that follows seven friends from college who reconnect at a wedding. “True Blood” star Anna Paquin plays the bride and Holmes plays her best friend and maid of honor who also has a romantic past with the groom (Josh Duhamel).

Katie Holmes tries to warm up with some coffee during a chilly afternoon on Long Island Thursday (Nov.5), while on the set of The Romantics.  Suri was also there spenting some time with her mom who has recently replaced Liv Tyler in the film.

The Romantics revolves around a group of eight friends who reunite years later to attend the wedding of their friend.  Katie has taken the role of Laura, the maid of honor who has been very friendly with the groom.  She is joining the rest of the cast which includes, Josh Duhamel (groom), Anna Paquin, Adam Drody, Malin Akerman, Jeremy Strong and Elijah Wood.
