Reese Witherspoon was seen with her two beautiful children – Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6 - heading to the dentist after picking them up from school in Beverly Hills on Monday (Jan. 4). The kids’ father is Reese’s ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe.
The 33-year-old Academy Award-winning actress recently split from Hollywood hunk Jake Gyllenhaal after a two year relationship. There are rumors he is trying to win her back. For Christmas the Brokeback Mountainstar sent Reese a $75,000 vintage dinnerware from France for her home in Ojai, California – he’s also sent emails and flowers.

Newly single Reese Witherspoon was seen getting into the Christmas spirit with a shopping spree at Jenny Bec’s Toy Store on Saturday afternoon (December 19) in Brentwood, Calif.
Witherspoon brought along her two children — Ava, 10, and Deacon, 5. Ava is like a miniature version of Reese – she is too cute!!

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have called it quits – for real this time.
Reese and Jake have parted ways but the split was mutual and amicable. They took a short break late last month, got back together but appear to have ended it for good this time.
The twosome has been together since co-starring in the 2007 drama thriller Rendition.
The break-up news was first reported by GossipCop.
Reese Witherspoon spoke out against domestic violence at London’s House of Commons on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Reese promoted a joint campaign by Avon and the charity Refuge.
Witherspoon said,
“‘There remains what can seem like an impenetrable wall of silence around violence and we must all play a role in breaking this silence.” she continued ”I’ve seen so many people who have suffered in silence and who are embarrassed or ashamed…..You’re not alone and if you reach out there’s someone next door to you in your life who is ready to give you support and care and love and it’s important to know that.”
Both reps for Reese and Jake say they are very much together.

Witherspoon, 33, and Gyllenhaal, 28, costarred in the 2007 movie Rendition, after which rumors started flying about them as an off-screen couple. It wasn’t long after the break up of Witherspoon’s marriage to actor, Ryan Phillipe.
The couple were seen together as recently as last month. Witherspoon told InStyle,
”We spend the weekends outside L.A, in Ojai, where I have a farmhouse. We have chickens and we grow cucumbers and tomatoes. I love it. It reminds me of where I grew up in Tennessee.”
Witherspoon was married for seven years to her Cruel Intentions costar Ryan Phillippe, until their 2006 divorce. They have two children, Ava, 10, and Deacon, 6.
Gyllenhaal’s high-profile roles included those in Brokeback Mountain, which earned him a 2006 Oscar nomination.
Last year, Witherspoon costarred with Vince Vaughn in the holidays Four Christmases, about a couple who all but split due to pressures brought on by their respective families.

Reese Witherspoon and Andrea Jung hosted the Avon Foundation for Women Gala at New York City’s Cipriani 42nd Street on Tuesday (October 27) with a special musical performance by Fergie. The gala honored exceptional women and men for their efforts fighting breast cancer and domestic violence.
Reese was quoted as saying,
“The initiatives of the Avon Foundation raise critical funds and awareness to combat breast cancer around the world. As a woman, a mother and the Honorary Chair of the Avon Foundation, I am proud to lend my support to this cause.”
Other celebrities in attendance included Courtney Cox, Lauren Conrad, Patrick and Jillian Dempsey and Suze Orman.
Reese Witherspoon was back on the field for more softball training as she filmed How Do You Know? in Philadelphia.
Paul Rudd has kept her company during their long hours on set, but this time around Reese was filming solo. The movie has a star-studded cast including Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson and Jack Nicholson.
The movie is said to revolve around a love triangle, with both Rudd’s character, a white-collar executive, and Wilson’s character, a pro baseball pitcher, both trying to win Witherspoon’s character over.
