Gerard Butler and Jessica Simpson are two people I would NEVER considered dating. The two were seen chatting it up and hanging out at the exclusive Soho House on Tuesday night (October 20).
“They were at a table with friends, but Simpson and Butler, who sat next to each other, seemed to only be interested in each other and chatted for hours,” a spy told Page Six. “They were laughing and flirting and eventually left together, along with [her hairstylist Ken Paves].”

Jessica Simpson just came back to the states after filming her new television show, The Price Of Beauty. The message of the show is that beauty comes from the inside.
While Tony Romo seems to be enjoying his new found status as a single man, Jessica Simpson is having a hard time coming to grips with being dumped a day before her 29th birthday.
“Jessica was really blindsided,” says a Simpson family friend. “She’s sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place.”
“Dating her comes along with her celebrity and press – that’s not easy for anyone,” says Simpson’s family friend. “But she and Tony seemingly had it figured out. They rolled with the punches and focused on each other. They just lost sight of that at the end.”
Since the sudden split, Simpson has been laying low. “She is holding up okay,” says the Simpson source. “She is with her family. They are – as always – very supportive of her.”
Romo supposedly dumped Simpson because of text messages sent by Jessica’s ex-boyfriend John Mayer to Simpson’s phone. Tony reportedly flew from an undisclosed location to Los Angeles in a bid to meet Jessica. When the couple was spending some quality time together, “he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it”, a source tells Radar Online, before then adding “Tony found messages from John and went ballistic. Tony dumped her right then. He walked out and that was it.”

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback fueled breakup rumors when he showed up with about 14 friends at the Hollywood hotspot MyHouse on Friday night without the birthday girl.
Simpson had planned to throw a Barbie and Ken-themed party for her birthday, but it fell through, according to a message she wrote on her Twitter page Saturday. “Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!” she wrote.
Although Simpson’s heart might be broken, she seems to remain hopeful about love. On Sunday, she Tweeted,
”Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.” Three hours later, she wrote, “Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.”
I was rooting for this couple. I am not sure why – I just liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple. Anyone else with me on this – or do I stand alone??

Simpson went to Dos Camino in Soho and brought her dog Daisy. Stepping out in a bright blue dress with her dog in one arm and her pocketbook on the other - she definitely had her hands full.
Later on Simpson was seen with hair stylist, Ken Paves, getting ready to set sail on the Hudson River. This time she was wearing a short bright blue (turquoise) and white striped dress, chandelier earrings and the same pocketbook as the afternoon (Can you believe she was spotted twice with the same bag?? – lol)
Jessica will be returning to television with her upcoming reality show, The Price of Beauty.
For anyone who loved Jessica Simpson (and some of her funny comments) on the ”Newlyweds” with her then-husband Nick Lachey – all I have to say is She’s Baaaaaaaack.
Simpson is gearing up to star in another reality TV show.
The show is called ‘The Price of Beauty’ and will have Simpson and a friend set off on a road trip around the world in search of what people find beautiful and why. This sounds a bit similar to Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s now defunct reality show (except without the beautiful part).
“Jessica is indeed working on a new show, but network details have not been finalized at this time,” Simpson’s publicist said.
Rumor is that Simpson will be seen trying some of the shocking things that women do to make themselves beautiful.

Jessica Simpson is no longer with her Sony Nashville label, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.
Simpson was dropped from the label after her name was noticeably missing from both the Columbia Nashville and Sony Music Nashville websites. She also skipped Sunday’s Academy of Country Music Awards, even though she announced the nominees earlier this year.
Simpson’s rep tells Us, “She was on loan to Sony Nashville for her country album. She is and has always been an Epic artist,” her rep adds. “She continues to be on Epic’s label.”
