Taylor Swift kicked off her 2010 “Fearless” tour to a sold out crowd at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, FL last night (Thu Mar 5).
Swift ruled the music world in 2009 and it looks like she has a good chance of continuing her streak in 2010. It was announced this week that Swift is up for 5 Country Music Award nominations, including the top honor: “Entertainer of the Year.”

Taylor Swift’s newest music video Fearless from her Grammy Award winning album, Fearless, debuted today. The video is a collection of the 20-year-old performers onstage and behind the scenes highlights from her ‘Fearless World Tour’.
“When I wrote ‘Fearless,’ I wasn’t dating anyone,” Taylor wrote. “I wasn’t even in the beginning stages of dating anybody. I really was all by myself out on tour and I got this idea for a song about the best first date.”
“I think sometimes when you’re writing love songs, you don’t write them about what you’re going through at the moment, you write about what you wish you had. So, this song is about the best first date I haven’t had yet.”

Nominees for the 2010 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards have been revealed. Miley Cyrus has come out as the leader of the nominations with nominations from three different categories; music, movie and television.
Cyrus was nominated for Favorite Song for her single “Party in the U.S.A”, Favorite Female Singer, Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite TV Actress. In both of her music nominations, she will be facing tough competition from Grammy-winning singers Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Other Kids Choice nominees include Taylor Lautner. Lautner was nominated for Favorite Movie Actor and “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” was nominated for Favorite Movie. Noticeably absent are his two co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Neither of the teen icons have been nominated at this year’s Kids’ Choice.
2010 Kids’ Choice Awards will be aired live on Nickelodeon at 8 P.M. on March 27.

Taylor Swift was seen at the beach in Melbourne, Australia. Swift had fun in the water with friends on St.Kilda beach and they all seemed to be in high spirits as they ran into the ocean, singing and waving their arms in the air.
Swift, who has been touring around Australia since right after the Grammy’s, will be performing her last concert in Adelaide on Friday, February 12.
Taylor tweeted about her adventure so far,
“My band + dancers + Gloriana + me. One bus. 2 hour drive to Newcastle. Summer camp style. Sometimes life at 20 resembles life at 10. We just planned on dinner, but it turned into barefoot beach frolicking in Melbourne tonight. Took pictures of my friends. Will post.”
Taylor Swift and the lengendary Stevie Nicks performed a duet at last night’s Grammy Awards. Taylor who won 4 Grammys, including Album of the Year, opened with Today Was a Fairytale, which is one of the songs from Valentine’s Day movie soundtrack. Then the Queen of Rock and Roll, Stevie Nicks joined her, together they sang Nicks’ Rhiannon and Swift’s popular song You Belong With Me.

It looks like Taylor Swift has done it again!! At 20 years of age, Swift has won her first Grammy.
The 52nd Grammy Awards is being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Grammy Awards aren’t even on television yet and Swift has already won two Grammy Awards. Her first Grammy is for Best Female Country Vocal. Swift was nominated along with Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert and Lee Ann Womack.
Swift won her second Grammy of the evening for Best Country Song, ‘White Horse’.
Taylor Swift’s CSI episode re-aired on CBS, Thursday. The episode titled ‘Turn, Turn, Turn’ orginally aired on March 5, 2009 and was watched by over 20 million people. If you missed the show, check out the Fearless singer in the CSI video below. The superstar portrayed a murder victim, 16-year-old Haley Jones. You can also see Taylor on the big screen in her upcoming movie Valentine’s Day as character Samantha Kenny.
But don’t forget she is also an amazing singer!! This Sunday (Jan. 31), she will probably walk away with a number of golden trophies. Taylor has been nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals and Best Female Country Vocal performance awards for the upcoming 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
Taylor Swift looked beautiful as she posed on the red carpet for ‘An Unforgettable Evening’ Benefiting EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund held at Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Wednesday evening (January 27).
Taylor performed during the dinner which honored her mentors, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, who also received the Courage Award.
The dinner also served as a fundraiser for the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund and individuals who have made considerable contributions to cancer research were honored.
