The MIRACLE WORKER is staged in the round for the first time at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50 Street).
Set in the South in the 1880s, The MIRACLE WORKER tells the story of real-life Medal of Freedom winner Helen Keller, who became deaf and blind in infancy, and the heroic teacher who taught her to communicate, Annie Sullivan.
The gifted young actress, Abigail Breslin is wonderful in the role of Helen Keller. Alison Pill is extraordinary in her portrayal of Annie Sullivan and Matthew Modine is outstanding as Helen’s father.
It was an moving production and the cast earned a standing ovation.
