Tiger Woods breaks his three month silence with an apology. In the audience to support Woods’ was his biggest fan, his mother.

Woods has been in rehab and plans to return later in the week.

“Many of you in this room are my friends. Many of you in this room know me. Many of you have cheered for me, or you worked with me or you supported me. Now everyone of you has good reason to be critical of me. I want to say to each of you simply and correctly I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible and selfish behavior I have engaged in. I know people want to find out how I could be so selfish and so foolish. People want to know how I could have done these things to my wife Elin and to my children.

Elin and I have started the process of discussing the damage caused by my behavior. As Elin pointed out to me, my real apology to her will not come in the form of words it will come from my behavior over time. We have a lot to discuss. However, what we say to each other will remain with the two of us.”

Tiger Woods has come out of hiding after his extramarital affairs became public several months ago.  He was seen publicly for the first time on a golf course in Windermere, Florida on Thursday (Feb. 18).

The World Class golfer and ladies man has scheduled a highly anticipated press conference for Friday morning at 11:00 am at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.  There is plenty of speculation surrounding topics of discussion for the conference, including the status of his marriage to Elin Nordegren Woods.  We will have to wait and see.

Tiger Wood’s took to his website to tell everyone he is going to be taking a break from life professional golf.  Here is his statement:

I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.

I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What’s most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.

After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf.   I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.

Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.

He would like to take the time to be a better husband – I can’t imagine staying with my husband after finding out that he had extra-marital “affairs” with more people than we could count.  What do you think – is there any chance that his wife is going to stay with him?  Rumors are circulating that she will be paid handsomely if she stays – money won’t pay for her dignity.  Thoughts??

The woman has been confirmed to be Tiger’s mother-in-law.  She was treated for stomach pains.

A woman was taken from Tiger Woods’ multimillion-dollar Florida home “on advanced life support” after firefighters received a call at 2:36 a.m. Tuesday, reports local station WESH-TV.

Witnesses told the NBC affiliate station, which aired footage of what appeared to be a blond woman receiving oxygen as she was carried away on a stretcher, that an ambulance transported the patient to Health Central Hospital.

Some websites are saying it is a middle aged woman.  Speculation is that it is Elin’s mother.  We will keep you posted once the identity is confirmed.

Tiger Woods’ wife has apparently moved out.   It appears that Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren moved out of the house, as news of yet another mistress has begun making the rounds.

This shouldn’t be a surprise.  The alleged mistress count is up to seven??  It changes by the hour so it has become hard to keep up.   It has yet to be confirmed if all of the women are telling the truth.  It seems that Nordegren may have heard enough about these trysts and has decided to move out of the house she shares with Tiger Woods.

In an article posted by Radar Online, the web site has reported that Elin Nordegren moved out and is now living in another house nearby.   This all goes back to an accident that Tiger Woods had on the day after Thanksgiving, and the bad news just seems to be compiling on top of this every day.   The increasingly bizarre personal life of Tiger Woods is being aired out in public.  How humiliating for all those involved.

It was just a matter of time before Elin moved out – I’m surprised she stayed as long as she did. Are you??

Tiger Woods has taken to his website to apologize for his transgressions/personal sins.  I am not sure what transgressions means in the context of his apology but it may have something to do with the text messages and voice mail that cocktail waitress/girlfriend, Jamie Grubbs, released to US Magazine. (hear the message after the jump). Tiger’s apology specifically stated,

“Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.”
