Katherine Heigl was in Las Vegas accepting the Female Star of the Year Award in Las Vegas on March 18, 2010 when she experienced an “oops” moment.

Heigl experienced technical difficulties when her dress broke as she was accepting the ShoWest award for Female Star of the Year, according to USA Today.    Billy Bush, who was emceeing, had to hold the strap together as she gave her thank-you speech.   ShoWest’s Male Star of the Year, was Sam Worthington from Avatar.  More photos after the jump!!

Grey’s Anatomy actress, Katherine Heigl, who has portrayed Dr. Izzie Stevens for six years has been discharged from Seattle Grace.  A source at EW exclusively confirmed that the series creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release the fast-rising movie star from her contract. It’s now up to ABC Studios and Heigl’s reps to hash out a final exit agreement. (A rep for ABC Studios declined to comment. Coincidentally, as of today Heigl is without a publicist.)

The usually very blond, Katherine Heigl has taken a walk on the dark side – at least her hair has.

Heigl was spotted out and about in Los Feliz, Calif. sporting a new, dark brunette hair color.

She lunched at Little Dom’s, wearing a brown coat, black turtleneck and dark shades.  

Heigl hasn’t been on Grey’s Anatomy too much this season.  She is headed to Las Vegas on March 18 for ShoWest 2010 where she will be honored as the female star of the year.

Katherine Heigl celebrated her 31st birthday yesterday, November 24, with husband Josh Kelley.

Heigl started the celebration with a birthday lunch, first stopping at the liquor store for lots of  wine.

Heigl and Kelley finished the birthday day with dinner at Beso Restaurant in Los Feliz, Calif.

Heigl, who hasn’t been seen too much on Grey’s Anatomy this season, will take another break from taping – this time it’s to spend more time with the baby girl she and her husband recently adopted.

Katherine Heigl is seen returning home with her daughter Leigh on Saturday (Oct. 17).  The Grey’s Anatomy star is carrying her 10-month old in her back breaking baby bucket.  The very busy working mom is currently filming the romantic comedy, Life As We Know It, as well as Grey’s Anatomy.

Katherine Heigl is seen, looking very happy, leaving her hotel with her parents and newly adopted 10-month old daughter Leigh on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia.  They were all headed to the set of Life As We Know It, the romantic comedy which Katherine will be starring.

The new mommy seems to be struggling with Leigh’s stroller, but is getting some assistance opening it.  In a couple of weeks I sure she will be holding the baby in one hand and snapping the stroller opened with the other.

The Grey’s Anatomy actress’ mom Nancy is her personal manager and her dad Paul is a financial executive/accountant.

Ellen Pompeo with her baby bump and husband Chris Ivery return home on Friday after spending the day at her co-star Katherine Heigl’s home in LA. The two Grey’s Anatomy actresses are both about to become first time mothers.

Katherine Heigl is said to be adopting a baby girl from Korea and Ellen is due to give birth in October and it is believed to also be a girl.

Katherine Heigl is said to be adopting a baby this week.

Heigl and husband Josh Kelley have wanted a baby for a long time  and the adoption process has been in the works for at least six months.

The baby is from Korea and her name is Nayleigh but her nickname will be Leigh. 

Heigl told USA Today two years ago that it’s something she’s “always planned.”

“I’m done with the whole idea of having my own children,” Heigl said.  “[It] doesn’t seem like any fun. I don’t think it’s necessary to go through all of that.”

Heigl’s own sister Meg is adopted from Korea.
