Mischa Barton was spotted smoking something in broad daylight!   It looks like the illegal stuff but you can’t be sure.

Mischa was seen driving with a friend in her vintage convertible in L.A, smoking something that looked like marijuana and puffing on it with a friend.

Barton likes to live life on the edge.  Given her past history of a DUI, pot possession charges back in 2007 and the millions of paparazzi in the area - smoking a joint in public would be risky and stupid crazy.  According to Dlisted, the paps claim she didn’t “toke” and drive. They say Mischa pulled over, puffed away and then went inside.

Gucci has introduced a new concept – The Gucci Icon-Temporary store.   The Gucci Icon-Temporary store is a flash sneaker store that will travel the world starting this month.   The stores will open up for two to three weeks with the New York store opening today on Crosby Street in Manhattan.  Additional stores are set to pop-up in London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Last night was the kick-off party with scores of celebrity in attendance including Mischa Barton, Evan Rachel Wood and Claire Daines.

Mischa Barton, Corbin Bleu, SaraPaxton, Nico Tortorella and Ashley Madekwe along with executive producer Ashton Kutcher and his wife Demi Moore, headed to New York’s Meatpacking District to celebrate the upcoming premiere of “The Beautiful Life: TBL” on Wednesday (September 16).

The Beautiful Life, filmed in New York, is about models trying to make it in the cutthroat fashion world in NYC, may be all about the glamour, but one of the stars confessed that her life these days is about nothing but work.

“Oh my gosh! I mostly have been working my butt off,” Paxton, wearing a graffiti design minidress, told MTV News on the carpet. “I mean, our hours are insane. My call time on Monday is at 4 a.m. So I spend hours working — I have very little time to explore.”

I’m curious to watch this one – anyone else plan on watching it??

Mischa Barton sat down with the women on ABC’s The View on Friday to explain why she  was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in July.

Mischa said, “I had two surgeries on my wisdom teeth,” she told host Barbara Walters. “I had four taken out and they had gotten it really badly wrong. They had to drill into my jaw and I was just in really excruciating pain.”

She blames the pain and her fear of needles for putting her in a very bad state of mind, she found the experience overwhelming.

The 23-year-old actress, who stars in the CW’s The Beautiful Life, called the July ordeal “silly” and “just a bad time for me.” Back then, police removed her from her home and placed her in L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

“Anyway, I got really healthy since then,” she said. “I’ve just been doing everything I can to keep my job happy and healthy and I’ve moved to New York with my two dogs and I have a great apartment I just got.”

The complete interview is on the video, she seems to be in a much better place now.

The Beautiful Life premieres on the CW on Wednesday, September 16, @ 9PM ET/PT.

Mischa Barton and Elle Macpherson were on the set of The Beautiful Life, Friday, trying to avoid the rain with their black umberellas.

The actress’ still looked lovely while sporting their hair curlers.

Elle Macpherson’s, Aussie supermodel and former Sports Illustrated cover girl, character on The Beautiful Life, owns a top modelling agency while Mischa Barton plays a troubled model.

Mischa Barton is seen on  the set of  The Beautiful Life  in NYC on Tuesday.

Last month, the actress, 23, suffered a breakdown and spent several days in a psychiatric ward after police were called to her home in Los Angeles.

The Beautiful Life debuts Sept. 16 on the CW network. It centers on a group of aspiring models living together in New York, and executive producer Ashton Kutcher thinks The Beautiful Life can offer a more honest portrayal of the people in the fashion game.  See more photos of Mischa after the jump. Mischa Barton who was under ‘involuntary psychiatric hold’ has been discharged from the hospital and is heading back to work on her television show, ‘The Beautiful Life’.   Barton plays a drug-addict supermodel in  ’The Beautiful Life’.

Below is a video of Barton heading out of LAX saying a few words to reporters.

Mischa Barton has been placed under involuntary psychiatric hold, Access Hollywood reports, citing a source.

According to Access, the 23-year-old actress is at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, Barton called police at 3 p.m. with a health problem. She was removed from her home without paramedics and no arrests were made.

The star’s rep, Craig Schneider, tells PEOPLE that police were only needed to protect the former O.C. star from the media as she was transported to her doctor.

 There have been rumors in the past about Barton doing things for publicity – this would be carrying things too far if that is the case.  Hopefully, Barton will be fine and back home soon.
