Sarah is stressing over the fact that Luc will be forced to leave the country unless he gets a new visa. Thankfully, a letter arrives from the State Department. Luc is legal!

Kitty wants Kevin to go to some campaign events with her, even though he reminds her that he does not work for her. Kevin agrees to join her at a rally. Kitty is introduced and booed. The audience is chanting, “America for Americans.” There have been unsubstantiated reports that both Kitty and Robert pulled some political strings to keep Luc in the country.

Kevin discovers that someone from his old law firm found out he called an old immigration law friend and started a blog about how their actions are taking jobs away from Americans. Read the rest of this entry »

Luc is back and the Walker family couldn’t be happier – except his Visa is due to expire in four weeks.  His art dealer, Jeannie, has been offering to marry him as business arrangement to get a green card.   This is news to Sarah – but she is happy to go along with it if it means Luc gets to stay in the country.

When Sarah realizes that she is in love with Luc – the Walker women try and stop the wedding.  They make it just in time.  Now what will Luc do to stay in the country??

Kitty breaks the news to the Walker family that she’s planning on running for Robert’s senate seat.   She wants the Walker’s weigh in and decides to take a vote.  The results indicate a yes – with one no.  Who could it be?

Business is bad at Scotty’s restaurant.  An upcoming event may give the restaurant the boost it needs, even the mayor is on the list as a guest chef.   Unfortunately, the mayor is stuck in snow in Chicago so Robert offers to take his place.  Nora is the other guest chef. While prepping their dishes, Robert and Nora bicker about the fact that Nora doesn’t want Kitty to run. But she denies that the “no” vote came from her.

Kevin doesn’t want to go to his high school reunion.  It has to do with a guy named Brent Lewinsky.  There is always that one kid in high school that we all try to avoid – even as adults. Read the rest of this entry »

Kevin and Scotty are super excited after receiving the news that they are getting closer to becoming dads.   Kevin begins with five healthy embryos, while Scotty only has three.   Kevin is full of himself over this fact.  It doesn’t last long – by the time they get to the next stage only one of Kevin’s embryos make it, while all three of Scotty’s remain in the game.

Paige’s science project plays a huge piece of tonight’s show.  After rejecting Sarah’s help, Kevin, Scotty and Justin join in to help her.  The project  involves building a dancing robot with lemons.   Justin is helping with the project despite being informed he is on academic probation and his adviser thinks he should drop out of medical school.   Poor Justin Read the rest of this entry »

Brothers & Sisters left off with Kitty collapsing during Rebecca and Justin’s almost wedding.

The collapse was caused by a clot on her lung.  As a result of Kitty’s collapse the Walker family finds out how serious her condition really is. Kitty’s best chance for survival is a bone marrow transfer. None of her family is a match leaving Ryan as their only hope.

Unfortunately, Ryan may have skipped town when Holly let’s him know that she is on to him and his illegal transgressions at Ojai.   The police go and get Ryan and bring him to the hospital for a blood test.  Ryan is a match.  But he is leaving – until Nora comes and tries to stop him. A Walker wedding is supposed to happen in this episode. But not before a hurricane, car accident and one of our favorite characters passes out unconscious. Will there be a wedding? Who is unconscious? Keep reading to see what happened on this week’s episode appropriately titled, ‘Nearlyweds.

A Hawaiian hurricane throws a monkey wrench into all wedding plans.   Justin admits to Saul that he’s actually a little relieved they have to postpone the wedding. But Rebecca doesn’t want to change the date, just the location.   She still wants a beach wedding, but now it’ll in Malibu. The family shifts into emergency party planning mode. Everyone is psyched to make this work. Everyone except the groom-to-be.

At an AA meeting, Justin admits that he’s not ready to be a father.  He’s not even sure he’s ready to get married.  While AA is supposed to be anonymous – this is hard to do when your future father-in-law is sitting in the back of the room.   David tells Justin he had better figure things out FAST.

As the wedding grows closer, Justin’s resolve to stay sober is weakened.  Justin is very upset when he receives his mid-term grades from medical school and they are not too good.   Rather than tell Rebecca he goes out with his family to celebrate the upcoming wedding.  The celebration turns sour when Kevin confronts Justin about his drinking.  When Justin tells Rebecca she panicks – does this mean he won’t be a good father??  In her panicked stated, Rebecca finally tells Justin that she is pregnant.  Justin is upset because he is the last to find out.  He is also upset because he doesn’t really want a child right now – he is completely overwhelmed.

Holly’s financial crisis grows much more dire as she is trying to pay for Justin and Rebecca’s wedding. Holly borrows money from Nora to pay for her share of the wedding.

Sarah is consumed with worry and jealousy over Nora’s newfound romance as she struggles to get over her own heartbreak from her love affair with Luc.  Sarah interrogates Simon and is looking for the reason that he likes her older mother.  Nora is afraid to give the relationship a try until Sarah and Kitty convince it’s okay for her to be happy and she should go for it.

Is Rebecca ever going to tell Justin she is pregnant??  Not if the writers of Brothers & Sisters have a say.  Rebecca is waiting for the perfect moment to tell Justin about the pregnancy.  Unfortunately with a fiance in med school the perfect moment is not going to happen.  Once again Rebecca can’t find the “right time” to tell Justin and she is 6 weeks along. 

Nora has a crush on a younger man and is having a hard time with her feelings – especially when a photographer at the wine festival tells her to move closer to her son.  The younger man,  who happens to be an oncologist (perfect since Kitty has cancer), doesn’t mind the age difference and tells Nora that she isn’t ready to live “outside the box” and take a risk.  Nora realizes that if she doesn’t take a risk she is going to lose the chance to date him, apologizes and they finally kiss.
