The newly crowned bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky, was on Jimmy Kimmel last night where she spoke about Jake’s choosing Vienna, her job and what she is looking for in a man (or woman – see the clip to see what she said). 

Jimmy had made a $100,000 bet that Ali and Jake would end up together. Looks like he lost that one.

I know the site has been covered with Ali and Jake but the clips were too funny to pass up.

The newest Bachelorette has been announced – Ali Fedotowsky is going to be The Bachelorette.

Ali, 25, has been a fan favorite from the moment she stepped out of the limo to meet Jake Pavelka on “The Bachelor.”

She became the front-runner for Jake’s heart, but instead they found themselves in a heartbreaking situation when she made a gut-wrenching decision to choose a job she loved over the man she loved. Ali made the surprising safe choice to go back to work, but regretted it immediately.  By the time she sorted out her work affairs, Jake had already moved on with his search for love with the three fabulous women who stayed with him, and he did not allow Ali to return.

It’s not too late for Ali now. Admitting that she made one of the biggest mistakes of her life, she has let go of everything this time – her apartment, her job, her stability – to really make a life-changing commitment to put her heart first.

There is quite a buzz today about Jillian and Ed breaking up.
The rumor hasn’t been confirmed but if it is true, it is about time Jillian came to her senses.

The Bachelorette’s Wes Hayden might lose his distinction as the most hated bachelor.  The controversy surrounding Jillian Harris’ and Ed Swiderski’s relationship might crown Ed as the new ‘bad boy’.

Wes just spent the weekend in Austin, hanging out with some of the former contestants, dishing about Jillian and Ed.

Wes tells PEOPLE,

“I had no clue whether Ed had a girlfriend … while we were on the show. I really didn’t know about any of it,” he says. “But if it’s true, I feel really bad for Jillian. I don’t know what to believe to be honest with you. I feel bad for Jillian and for Ed. But if in fact he was doing what everybody’s been saying, then man up and deal with it.”

It is scary when Wes is the voice of reason, but he is right Ed, man up and deal with it.

US Magazine has found their next witch hunt.   Kate and Jon Gosselin have filed their divorce papers, LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibriani have both split up from their spouses and now we have The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris’ fiance Ed Swiderski’s cheating scandal.

We now have castmates sharing their thoughts on Ed Swiderski.

Wes Hayden, the man who allegedly had a girlfriend during the show, stated:

“Dave [Good] and I both remember Ed saying he had a girlfriend,” says Hayden, who also was accused of having a girlfriend while on the show. “But we are not the kind who are going to run our mouths.”

Finalist Reid Rosenthal said:

Some contestants knew Swiderski, 30, was bad news and “didn’t care to hang out with him.”

Adds Michael Stagliano:

 ”There was definitely something, I can’t put my finger on it, where I did think, I’m not going to be best friends with this guy. Ed’s a shady character.”

Bachelorette contestants are required to relinquish cellphones and laptops on the show to keep interaction lively among the participants. But because of Swiderski’s job as a Microsoft consultant, he “had an agreement” to keep both “because it was imperative for him to have access for work,” castmate Jesse Kovacs stated.

While he did some work, he also said to have kept in touch with girlfriend Lindsey Johnson., whom he told was only going on the show for fun.

I have been getting a ton of e-mails from all of the Bachelorette fans out there wanting to know what’s going on since news of the alleged cheating by Ed and the false break-up rumors.

Jillian Harris’ close friend, Shannon Long spoke to the Calgary Herald and assured them Jillian and Ed are fine.

“I think they have already talked about it and moved on. She’s got it under control.”

For a reality TV couple “control” can mean a very public round of crisis management appearances.

Both Harris and Swiderski appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America Aug. 5 to deny the allegations.   The two women in question countered in tabloids maintaining their story.

“It’s all crap,” says Long, who has been friends with Harris since kindergarten and chats with her daily by phone.

“I am going to Chicago in October to visit them. I just finished planning the trip,” says Long

“Jill is in love. I’ve never seen her so happy in my entire life.”

Jillian sent an e-mail to the paper stating,

“I want my sweet little simple Canadian life back where people treat others with respect.” Adding: “I am doing great, though . . . We are just trying to weather this storm.”

Despite all the rumors of a break-up, Bachelorette couple Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski are very much together, showing up at Las Vegas’s LAVO Friday night just after 11 p.m. for drinks and appetizers.The couple had canceled a reservation at the same restaurant hours prior, prompting speculation of their breakup. The truth behind the canceled reservation: “Ed was working late,” a source told PEOPLE.

Inside LAVO, Harris and her fiancé acted every bit the couple and held hands as they walked in.

Dining on appetizers on the restaurant’s outdoor patio overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, the couple sipped wine, talked and held hands during the hour-and-a-half stay.

So there you have it – they are still together and not broken up as previously reported on many websites!!

MyFoxPhilly is reporting that Bachelorette star Jillian Harris has dumped fiance Ed Swiderski in Las Vegas.  (We could only hope).

A source very close to the situation has confirmed the split and that Swiderski’s relationships with two other women led to the break up.

Harris was to have had dinner at the restaurant Lavo at the Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas with Swiderski, but instead dropped the bombshell on him.

Us Weekly said earlier this week it had documented proof Swiderski was cheating with two women, a claim he denied on national TV.

US Weekly says Ed Swiderski slept with former girlfriend Lindsey Johnson, and hit on another ex-girlfriend, Bethany Steffen, after he proposed to Jillian Harris.

On Good Morning America on Wednesday, Swiderski denied all claims made by the two women and Us Weekly.   Harris also appeared on TV, said the claims were false and she would never again discuss the matter publicly.

I am completely confused by this report since Harris spoke to The Province newspaper on Thursday and stated,

“I am not affected by this at all,” she says. “We really plan on trying to get out of the limelight and trying to get on with our lives. It’s been a hard couple of days but … it only made us stronger and it’s only made us communicate with each other more.

“We’re doing fine,” continues Harris. “It’s hard because I’m just a regular Canadian girl.”
