This week on The Real Housewives of New York City, Ramona reprimands Mario for the infamous comment he made about LuAnn, which makes him want to bury the hatchet. But things come to a head when both Ramona and LuAnn decide to throw Labor Day weekend parties, and more jaw-dropping things are said about LuAnn. Meanwhile, Bethenny and Jason are faced with the next important step in their relationship, while Kelly arrives at LuAnn’s with a sexy secret to share!

A fun day on Ramona’s friend’s yacht with the ladies turns sour, and leaves Ramona in tears. Ramona felt like she was being attacked by The Countess and Jill when they tell her that Mario is rude to them at times. Ramona grew up in a verbally abusive house and has decided that she will not take being attacked or verbally put down anymore.

Jill had a rough summer – her husband, Bobby had thyroid cancer. Jill is angry with Bethenny and the two haven’t spoken in months because Bethenny didn’t visit Bobby. Read the rest of this entry »

Desperate Housewives has returned after leaving off with a devastating plane crash that hit Wisteria Lane.

The show started with Susan finding out that Carl is in surgery and may not make it.  Susan thinks about what her life would have been if Carl and she had remained a couple.  As expected, Carl continues to cheat and Susan eats her worries away.  Teri Hatcher even dons a fat suit for the “dream”.  The much plumper Susan makes a pass at her plumber, who happens to be her real husband, Mike.  Mike cannot get away fast enough.   Susan wakes to the reality that Carl has died.

Bree dreams of what her life would have been like if Carl had survived the crash on Wisteria Lane.  While Bree and Carl marry in her dream – the marriage is not a happy one.  As expected, Carl cheats on her and sadly Bree is called to Orsen’s home after he has a heart attack and dies.  Upon waking up from her dream Bree finds out that the reality is that Orsen is alive but may be paralyzed due to spinal cord damage.  Read the rest of this entry »

As shoppers flock to Manhattan in the lead-up to the holidays, there’s one thing that Bethenny Frankel wants everyone to leave off their shopping lists: fur. Towering high above Times Square, the Real Housewives of New York City star appears against the New York skyline—without a stitch of clothing—in a stunning new PETA billboard campaign titled “Fur? I’d Rather Go Naked.”

In an exclusive PETA interview, Frankel opens up about what made her change her mind (and her wardrobe):

“I used to wear fur. I went to a cocktail party, walked outside on Fifth Avenue, and a PETA protestor was holding up a skinned animal. I looked at it, and it made me sick. I felt disgusting. That day was a huge change, and since then I’ve really been against fur. I’m cleaning out my closets—trim, everything. I don’t see any reason for cruelty.”

Frankel then twittered about the photo and how she was pregnant when the photo was taken and it wasn’t even airbrushed.  This statement caused Theresa Giudice, a star of  The Real Housewives of New Jersey,  to slam pregnant Bethenny Frankel’s new nude PETA ad.

“To quote Bethenny: ‘I just threw up a little in my mouth,’” Giudice, 36, Twittered Tuesday.

To this I say – can’t we all just be friends??

We should have known when the rumors started circulating and we immediately heard that the rumors were false – that something was up.   Usually the rumors swirl for weeks before there is a confirmation or denial.

In this case – it was days (closer to hours) before we heard from Frankel herself that she was pregnant. Frankel took to her twitter account to confirm that the rumors were in fact true.

“I’m pregnant,” Frankel Twittered today.

This season of The Real Housewives of New York City has two new faces on the block. The current cast of “The Real Housewives of New York City” are Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin.

Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City” will feature two new women, Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert, recurring in season three.

Sonja Morgan is a single mother of a nine-year old girl. Morgan is very familiar with New York City society, running in social circles that include European royalty and top-notch designers. Morgan has worked for multiple restaurants across the city as a consultant and manager.

Jennifer Gilbert is a busy career woman who owns a couple of companies including Save the Date®, a corporate and social event planning company, and is the co-owner of Portamee, a baby carrier company.  Gilbert was also named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young when she was 29.    Gilbert is married and has three young children. 

It should be another interesting year for the Real Housewives.  We all know how many cat fights we get to see when there is a new cast member introduced – does this mean double trouble because there are two new cast members??  Will you be tuning in this season??
