Dakota Fanning was filming a scene from the movie, The Runaways in Encino, California over the weekend.
The Runaways is based on lead-singer Cherie Currie’s book ‘Neon Angel’ – a reflection of her experiences as a rock star. The movie focuses on the band’s formation, and their meteoric rise to fame. The Runaways is the first all-girl rock-band to ever break into the world of arena-filling hard rock acts in the mid 70’s.
I love the outfit that Fanning is wearing in this scene. The socks with the sandals was a fashion statement in the 70’s. I’m so glad this is one style that hasn’t yet returned to the fashion “scene”. What do you think?? More photos after the jump!!
