The half-brother of comedian Dane Cook is facing a bunch of additional charges following his arrest for allegedly stealing over $11 million from Dane Cook while acting as the entertainer’s business manager for close to 20 year.

Dane Cook is know for his hilarious stand-up routines and has been the star of such movies as Employee of the Month, and Good Luck Chuck.

A Middlesex County grand jury returned 20 more charges against Darryl McCauley, 43, of Wilmington, Mass.

The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office said McCauley, who was married to Cook’s sister Erika, 37, acted as Cook’s business manager and bookkeeper from the early 1990s and paid Cook’s bills and managed his income.

The new charges allege that McCauley, without the knowledge or consent of Cook or Great Dane Enterprises (GDE), Cook’s corporation, wrote company checks to himself, deposited those checks in a joint account in the name of himself and his wife Erika McCauley, then withdrew and used the money for their own personal use.

Erika McCauley was arrested and arraigned in connection with her involvement with the alleged thefts in June. She pleaded not guilty at her arraignment.

Darryl McCauley was arrested last December and arraigned in Woburn District Court, where he also pleaded not guilty.

Dane must feel awfully betrayed by his family.  Would you be able to forgive a family member if they did something like this to you?
