NASCAR driver, Danica Patrick got behind the wheel of a food truck and took fast food to a whole new level on the Easy Eats food truck when she dished up some unconventional smoothie-style “easy eats” to customers. While a smoothie is usually a delicious refreshment, this may not have been the case with the smoothies that were served by Danica. The race car driver served up liquefied meals to remind people to see a dentist regularly. If you are like me and tend to avoid the dentist, what Danica did was show us first hand, what could happen if you don’t go to the dentist. You could end up with a mouth with no teeth and drinking your meals out of a straw.

Danica tried to convince the people who placed an order, that the ‘food all goes to the same place,’ and while the consumers looked completely disgusted, Danica explained, ‘we won’t really need forks anymore if we don’t have teeth.’ People drank, blended fish and blended tacos and when Danica asked them for their feedback, ‘they said they would keep going to the dentist.’

Who could blame them? Thankfully, this can all be avoided, thanks to Aspen Dental. Aspen Dental is one of the largest and fastest-growing networks of dental care providers in the U.S., providing millions of Americans with access to quality, affordable dental care to help keep their mouths on track.

When was the last time you went to the dentist? I have a confession, I haven’t been to the dentist in over two years. Last year more than 150 million Americans didn’t visit the dentist because they either struggled to find care when they needed it or delayed it as a lesser priority.

After eating a dinner of steak, french fries, asparagus and garlic bread, I couldn’t help but think about not being able to chew my food due to poor dental hygiene. I decided to experiment and took the ingredients from dinner and put it in the blender. The smell alone was horrible, I barely touched my lips to the dinner smoothie, when I  realized I would be making the dentist my new priority.  With Aspen Dental – taking good care of my teeth will be easy.

If you don’t want your future meals to look like they were made by Danica Patrick’s Easy Eats food truck, then don’t avoid regular visits to the dentist. Practicing good oral health is important to maintaining your future health.
