David Foster Opens Up About Estranged Wife Yolanda and Her Health

By on December 22, 2015

When David and Yolanda Foster announced that they were separating after four years of marriage, rumors started to fly that it was Yolanda’s Lyme Disease that was to blame. Then, it was reported that David as well as his wife’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars were questioning the validity and seriousness of her condition. Now, the former step-father to Brody Jenner and Gigi Hadid is opening up about the demise of his marriage and is getting candid to clear up any questions fans may have. He has not spoken much post-split and there was a lot of hearsay but Foster finally released a statement to E! and this is what the Grammy winning record producer had to say: “Over the past few weeks, a great deal of inaccurate or baseless information has been reported claiming to represent my thoughts and feelings. It is painful to watch this happen repeatedly – especially while trying to cope with the personal nature of the challenges surrounding the breakup of our loving marriage. I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda. Which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness.”

There is also the rumor that Yolanda’s ex-husband and the father of her three children, Gigi, Bella and Anwar, has been paying her excessively high medical bills. (Father is Mohamed Hadid, a real estate mogul featured on RHOBH as a longtime friend of Lisa Vanderpump.) David went on to add: “I have been by Yolanda’s side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of  her Lyme diagnosis. I am incredibly  proud of Yolanda’s determination and mission to find a cure, and how brave and open she has been by sharing her story in the hopes of changing the future for others.” This is not David’s first go-round with marriage and a source told E! that he will likely steer clear of it in the future. We certainly hope that Yolanda can get the help that she needs and that the split can continue to remain (seemingly) amicable. What do you think?
