What do you hope to get out of participating in this television show?
I feel it is a great experience. I acknowledge the reality that I may not fall in love. However, crazy things have happened. As in, you never know. Maybe I do. That’s an okay bet for me. Nothing to lose — everything to gain. I hope to make some friends along the way. If I am here, I might as well connect with others.

How important is your family’s approval to you when it concerns dating a certain someone?
Pretty important. You don’t just marry the girl, you marry the family.

What do you do for a living, and how important is your career to you?
I feel that we get caught up in defining who we are by what we do. I am not so concerned with the perception of others. If my work becomes dull or boring but is prestigious, I’ll change it.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why? How would you use it?
To learn things, new skills, etc at a moment’s notice. I would use it to put together new public policies — reshape the way we look at approaching the world and its available resources — and go on Jeopardy!and beat Watson (the computer) finally resolving the Human vs. Robot argument.

It definitely wasn’t that robot vacuum. Messed up on that one.

Two individuals coming together out of mutual fascination for each other, and supporting each other’s freedom toward personal happiness as one.

Travel to small towns and go antique shopping for odd things. I got a wooden flying pig last month in Gruene, Texas.

I would be able to open pistachios telepathically… especially the tough ones that just don’t want to pry open.

Permanent judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy were, once again, joined by Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

First up was the limber 26 year old, Nicholas “Slick” Stewart, who specialized in a unique style called flexing. The judges were left somewhat speechless because they had never seen anything like it. They couldn’t send him to Vegas without knowing if he could hold his own with a partner in another style, but they were unanimous in sending him to the choreography round.

Contemporary dancer Alex Kessinger, 18, came from humble beginnings. She was adopted and trained in dance by her aunt after she was placed in foster care because her birth mother was unfit. She certainly looked like a star, and she had the talent to back it up. She didn’t even get a critique from the judges. Mary just stood up and yelled, “VEGAS!”

Sebastian Serra, a 23-year-old dancer with the Orlando Ballet, was up next. Nigel started off the critique by joking, “All well and good, but can you krump?” In all seriousness, though, the judges really liked him. They hated his music and his shorts, but they loved his dancing and charisma. Jesse predicted he’d go far. He earned a ticket straight to the Vegas round.

“The Voice” is about to go from ten to eight as America solely decides who is moving on and who is going home. Last week, Team Usher lost Vedo while Team Shakira lost Garrett Gardner. There were some stand-outs last night such as all of Team Blake while Team Adam’s artists still don’t impress me. Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher is a dynamo within herself. She looks like a plain jane but when she sings, something inside is brought to life. It was hard with the Oklahoma tragedy and coach Blake Shelton having his mind elsewhere. He was not alone as The Swon Brothers were facing the same sadness over their home state. On top of all the show excitement, Maroon 5 debuted their latest single “Love Somebody.” If you missed any of it, we have your recap right here.

Tonight, we will see if bringing back the advisors: Sheryl Crow, Hillary Scott, Pharrell Williams and former (and returning judge) Cee Lo Green helped the artists advance. Two will have to go home, there are no saves or second chances.

This week on General Hospital in Port Charles…Pickle Lila goes head to head with Pickle Eddie; three old faces return with new identities; and Laura sets a wedding date.

At the Chew studios in NYC, AJ finds Elizabeth with Nikolas in the green room. What is Nik doing here? Elizabeth explains that Nikolas stopped Tracy from coming. AJ remains wary, but is ushered onstage before he can say more. As AJ engages in very stiff banter with The Chew co-hosts (minus Clinton), Tracy escapes from the hotel and rushes to the studios. She bumps into Nikolas, who takes a swift kick to the groin for his troubles. Tracy bum-rushes the stage, triumphantly waving Pickle Eddie in the air. AJ is indignant at the name change. Both Quartermaine’s watch anxiously as the hosts taste Pickle Eddie (the original recipe) and Pickle Lila (same name, great new taste). However, things take a bad turn when Mario and Carla both become nauseas and throw up, as well as Elizabeth in the green room.

In another part of town Michael finds Morgan badly beaten on the floor of Ava’s apartment. Michael takes Morgan to the hospital after Morgan insists that he has a plan to pay the bookies back. However, once they get to the hospital, Morgan takes off. Michael returns to Ava’s apartment where he comes face to face with … Starr? Nope! It’s Kiki, Morgan’s supposedly tough-talking girlfriend from Vassar. She sets up a high-stakes poker game for Morgan to win back his money as Michael tries to dissuade Morgan from digging himself deeper into debt. Unfortunately one of the players catches Kiki and Morgan cheating and they all walk. As Kiki yells at Michael for ruining their plan, the bookies return, intent on putting all three kids into body casts.

Back in Port Charles Carly and Sam return to Carly’s house where they search for Michael. Instead they find Mercedes with Josslyn. They call Sonny and Shawn to tell them that they figured out that Morgan has been in touch with Michael and Michael probably went to look for Morgan.

Connie and Olivia are visited by the same mobsters who beat Morgan. They intend to send a message to Sonny through them. Olivia furtively texts Sonny, who comes to their rescue. Sonny learns from Connie that Morgan is in NYC and tells Carly.

Carly and Sam head to the Big Apple where they look for Morgan at the hospital. They split up to cover more ground, leaving Sam to come face to face with … John? Sam stumbles backward, stunned. The man explains he is a doctor—who happens to be Stephen Clay’s brother! Sam tells him that Stephen is dead and left a son, Rafe, behind. Silas responds as if Sam just told him that the sky is blue. Indifferent Stephen turns away, but later overhears Sam complaining of his cold demeanor to Carly.

At Kelly’s Emma notices chocolate chips in her pancakes. Hm, Daddy only gives her those when there is something wrong. So what’s wrong? Patrick explains that Britt is still having a baby, to which Emma utters the priceless, Felix-inspired line, “Witch, please!”

Sophia Grace said, ‘Rosie’s mom just said….I like Miguel. I would like to go home with him,’ followed by Rosie saying, ‘Mommy might be in love.’

After seeing Nicki Minaj, Sophia said, ‘Did you see how big her boobs were?’

Tonight the entire celebrity cast returns, including Any Dick, Dorothy Hamill, D.L. Hughley, Wynonna Judd, Victor Ortiz, Ingo Rademacher, Sean Lowe and Lisa Vanderpump. The returning stars will perform a show-stopping opening number with the pro and troupe dancers. The show will feature music from Pitbull, who will perform his new single, “Hands Up,” and Wynonna will sing “I Want to Know What Love Is.” In addition, PSY will take to the stage with his latest hit, “Gentleman,” and Jessica Sanchez will sing her version of Pitbull’s “Feel This Moment.”

The fourth-place couple will be eliminated within the first hour of the show, and in a final element of the competition, the three remaining couples will perform a new routine in an “Instant Dance”- where they will tackle a style they know, but to music given to them for the first time live on television. This routine will be scored out of 30 and will round out the judges’ scores across both nights.

Pitt recently sat down with Esquire to reveal his past struggles:

“For a long time I thought I did too much damage—drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f–king off. But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. Then, Pitt says “about a decade ago” he made “a conscious change.” “It was an epiphany—a decision not to squander my opportunities. It was a feeling of, ‘Get up.’ Because otherwise, what’s the point?”

Well, first off, it is great that Pitt decided to change his life for the better as whose to say where he or his career would be if he continued on with drugs. He is now clean, married to one of the most beautiful women in the world, has six kids (or a few hundred. I’ve lost count) and oh yes, is one of the most successful movie stars ever.

But speaking of Pitt’s zoo of kids, he comments:

“I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house…There’s constant chatter in our house, whether it’s giggling or screaming or crying or banging. I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it’s nice to be in a hotel room for a day—–‘Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.’ But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.”

By the sound of that, Pitt should be glad he is with a woman who wants to adopt every child in the world, even those who have caring parents already.

Bieber posted the pic of him with Brown and added the caption: “Look-who-it-is. CB what’s up.” In the picture, Brown has his arm around Bieber as Bieber points at Brown. Aww, how cute.

Bieber, who recently got booed at the Billboard Music awards, is simply giving people yet another reason to rag and dislike him. When you pose and look elated to be hanging out with one of the most unlikable people in the music business,  you can’t blame people for having a bad taste in their mouths and for thinking that you’re a total gimmick.

Also,when Bieber isn’t giving us another reason to throw up, he is tweeting things like:

“gonna take some time” (to do what? Use your imaginations, Beliebers). And on Tuesday, he wrote simply, “focused #musicjournals”

Sounds like Bieber may be working on another album, perhaps to satisfied his rabid fan-base and to anger his rapid army of people who dislike him.
