Have U Heard??

On this week’s episode of the Ghost Whisperer, one of Eli’s patients thinks he is being haunted by his sister’s ghost.

The patient, Nathan, was left home with his sister Rachel when they were younger and Rachel was kidnapped and murdered.

Melinda pays a visit to Nathan in his home and hears the sound of a double heartbeat of a ghost on the video.  Melinda begins searching the newspapers to see if an old girlfriend of Nathan’s  passed away.  While searching – Melinda is warned by a ghost, Amy Warner, to stay away.

Amy Warner turns out to be Nathan’s ex-girlfriend.  Amy died from breast cancer, survived by her husband and son, Garrett.  Garrett is Nathan’s son.  Nathan doesn’t know that he has a son until Melinda tells him.  Garrett is very angry because he thinks that Nathan ignored him and let his mother die.  He is determined to get back at Nathan and almost succeeds when he cuts the electric wires in Nathan’s house and inadvertently starts a fire and traps Melinda and Nathan in the safe room.

Garrett was arrested but Nathan bailed him out and hired him a lawyer.  Garrett’s goal was to give Nathan’s software away for free as payback for his mother dying because she didn’t have money.
