House Recap 10/19/09 Brave Heart

House1Tonight’s patient on House, is a police detective whose father, grandfather and great-grandfather all died of sudden heart failure at the age of 40. The detective has lived his life convinced he too will die by age 40 and his 40th birthday is right around the corner.
He finds himself at Princeton Plainsboro hospital after his reckless pursuit of a suspect.

The team along with House attempt to identify his condition so the detective can live without fear of dying young.  House is convinced he is fine and lies to the patient about a  fictitious disease that will be cured in a week.  The patient is thrilled to be cured, but is soon declared dead and winds up in the morgue.  House wants to preform the autopsy to determine cause of death, but as he cuts into the patients chest he wakes up screaming.  House realizes the problem that has plagued the family for generations is a aneurysm on a nerve in their brains.  A surgery cures the man and his son.

Elsewhere on House,  Chase is still haunted by his actions in the Dibala case and Cameron is questioning his strange behavior.
House thinks he is losing his mind again when he starts to hear voices.  He discovers the voices are Wilson talking to his dead girlfriend at night.
