Janet Jackson Speaks About Michael Jackson to Robin Roberts

In the first interview since her brother Michael’s death, Janet Jackson has broken her silence.  Robin Roberts spoke to Janet about Michael, her family, her love life, her career and much more.

Janet spoke about Michael’s addiction to drugs and how his close friends and family tried to help him.

According to Janet, Michael understood the family’s motives for interventions were out of love.

When Roberts asked her if her brother was in denial about his addiction, she replied “Possibly.”

“I wish he could answer this question for you and not me,” she said. “I felt that he was in denial.”

Toxicology results did reveal Michael Jackson had lethal amounts of Propofol in his system when he died and his death was ruled a homocide.

Janet spoke about Michael’s children and said they were doing very well.

Janet has returned to where she feels most comfortable – her music.   Her new album Janet “Number Ones,” was released which is a 2 disc set with all her number one hits from beginning to end.

In addition Janet, is working on the sequel of Tyler Perry’s , “Why Did I Get Married.” It will be released on April 2, 2010. (She had been working on it this summer up until the time when her brother died.)

Not a day goes by that Janet doesn’t think about her brother.  A terrible loss for all of the Jackson family and the fans of MJ.
