Jon & Kate Recap – June 22, 2009 (6/22/09)
Jon and Kate filed for divorce today (6/22/09) in Reading, PA. On tonight’s episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8 they discuss the fact that they are getting a separation. They never mentioned divorce but it was displayed on the television that the papers for the dissolution of the marriage were filed today.
Jon, who has often commented that he does not like doing the show, stated that he is thankful for the show so that Jon & Kate can discuss what they want to – and not have it reported in the tabloids. Jon’s big question was why do the papparazzi care what he had for lunch when they should really care about the soldiers in Iraq.
Jon admits to being too passive in the relationship and that Kate ruled the roost. He also stated that he is finally able to stand on his own two feet. Unfortunately this comes at the expense of the family. Jon said he is 32 and is “excited” about his future. Who uses the word “excited” when discussing a divorce??
Jon mentioned on several occassions during the show that he does not hate Kate. Unfortunately – he always put the word BUT after saying “I don’t hate Kate – BUT“. So in other words – he does hate her. I guess he hasn’t been watching Dr. Phil enough.
Kate is scared – scared of being alone and handling everything. She seemed truly sad about the impending divorce.
Both Jon and Kate agree that the family comes first. The kids will remain in the house and Jon and Kate will do the switching back and forth. Jon is rumored to be looking for an apt in New York City. Kate said they did the show so they could provide for the kids and the show must go on. Jon said he plans on continuing with the show but if he gets a job he doesn’t know what will happen.
What do you think will happen – will we still see Jon on Jon & Kate Plus 8 or will it just be Kate Plus 8??

He’s excited about the future because he doesn’t have to be under the heel of that shrieking shrew with no prospect for happiness other than having sex with the gaping Pit of Carkoon that is her vagina.

Okay so kate might be a little bossy but id like to see u (the person saying she’s a c * n t ) to raise 8 kids and have cameras following u so what if she crabby doesn’t give him a right to cheat! When u get married u make a promise for better or for worse.. And john took the normal guy way out by cheating and then ending it .. So basically I feel bad for her and I think some people need to get their head outta their ass and reliaze she’s taking care of 8 kids id be crabby too!
