Justin Bieber Returns to Long Island to Perform at Pop-Con

Justin Bieber is set to return to Long Island for the tween music festival, Pop-Con on Saturday (Feb 20). His last visit, back in November, led to disappointment for thousands of his fans who flocked to the Roosevelt Field Mall to meet the teen singing sensation. Unfortunately, the event was canceled after a riot ensued and Justin was not permitted to enter the mall.
For his return, the 15-year-old pop singer will be joining over half-a-dozen musical artists including, Selena Gomez with her band the Scene, Care Bears on Fire, Push Play, One Call, Sean Kingston, Tiffany Giardina, WOW, Nat & Alex Wolf, DJ Prime, Days Difference, Meadowland, Mercy Mercedes,Vita Chambers, Meaghan Martin and Wonder Girls. The all-day music festival will be more than just a concert, with vendors, gaming stations and many young pop icons participating in the event. The tween experience, Pop-Con, will take place at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Justin Bieber’s rapid rise to stardom began when he was discovered on YouTube. He released his first CD My World Part 1 this past fall and became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut CD on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. My World Part 2 is scheduled to be released in March of this year.
