The film Rabbit Hole is based on the stage play by David Lindsay-Abaire which was first performed in 2005.
The story revolves around a couple who lose their 4 year old son in a car accident and how they come to terms with their grief, a journey complicated by the driver of the car contacting them.
Nicole is not only starring in Rabbit Hole, but it is also being produced by her production company Blossom Films in conjunction with Fox Searchlight Pictures and Olympus Pictures. The film is being directed by John Cameron Mitchell and is due for release in 2010.
