Octomom Documentary Unseen Footage

Octomom: The Incredible Unseen Footage, the two-hour documentary that aired on Fox on Wednesday night, documents the self-obsessed mother of 14, giving birth to 8 at one time, Nadya Suleman.  I missed the documentary and after reading the reviews, I am glad I spend my time elsewhere.  Below are a few comments about Nadya’s performance.

-EW’s Ken Tucker describes it as “a repulsively grim two hours.”

-We have to agree with the Examiner.com about this: “Two commercial breaks into the program, I want to jump through the screen and squeeze the collagen out of this woman’s lips.”

-The New York Times says the footage “failed to produce a second’s worth of contrarian evidence that Nadya Suleman isn’t a self-obsessed, publicity-driven lunatic.”

“A mess,” writes The Baltimore Sun’s David Zurawik of the show (not Nadya) later saying, “a hot mess.”

Writes Variety: “Fox and the producers won’t win any humanitarian awards for their part in perpetuating this free-for-all, but it’s not like the rest of the media have behaved better.”

Did anyone catch the documentary, let us know what your thoughts are?

I watched this just now on the internet. Wow. This woman seems completely delusional. It is as if she is living in a world seperate from the rest of us. I was very put off by the story she laughingly told about listening to her mother’s body roll around in the trunk. I am also concerned about the children, the older ones. While they all seem to be healthy they certainly are not happy. They seem to avoid the cameras at all costs and when they must be filmed seem angry and combative. While watching the three year old somberly point to the paparazzi at the playground, my heart went out to him and his brothers and sisters and their lost childhood. At least Octomom (trademarked apparently?) will be able to pay for their therapy. She seems sweet but that does not mean she should be absolved of all guilt for what she is putting those children through. Hopefully she’ll wake up and realize it before the final eight are old enough to realize they live in a circus.

This dum lady made her own bed now let her sleep in it all by herself. Why do us tax payers have to pay for her mistakes. I’m a single mom I can barley make it on my salary. Tell her she is on her own without the state/governments help and see what she does. Take her off the TV and media. I dont want to hear about this idiot anymore. She is a looser.
