Have U Heard??

Tonight’s episode of Project Runway began with a field trip with Tim Gunn ( Have U Heard’s exclusive interiew with on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 can be found here).   Gunn took the designers to the LA Times where the designers were given the challenge of creating a design using newspaper as fabric.  

The designers were given until midnight to come up with a design.  Tim came in to give feedback to the designers and told Johnny that his design looks like a craft project gone wrong. Ouch.

Johnny ripped up the dress and then told the other designers that the steamer ruined his dress.  This was the “biggest lie” that was promoted all week.

The guest judge for this week was Eva Longoria Parker.

Althea got rave reviews from all of the judges.   Jordana was told by Heidi Klum that her dress was a bit boring.   Irina’s trench coat was breath taking for Eva, but Tommy Hilfiger was a bit more critical.   The judges were very critical of Johnny’s dress.   Johnny told the judges his lie about his first dress being ruined as an excuse for his 2nd dress looking like it was thrown together. Christopher received rave reviews for his design – or as Tommy Hilfiger said,”It’s a Wow”.

The winner for this week’s challenge was Irina.

Johnny was sent packing.
