Project Runway Season 6: ReCap Episode 4 – 9/10/09

On tonight’s episode of Project Runway the 13 remaining designers were each given the task of making one runway model happy. The models have been invited to a special event where they need to stand out and be noticed. The designers have a budget of $100 and one day to create the dress.
Tim Gunn took the designers to get some fabric and with 13 hours left the designers started to make their dresses.
This weeks judges are Marc Bouwer -Designer, Zoe Glassner – Editor for Marie Claire and Jennifer Rade, stylist for Angelia Jolie.
Louise, Irina, Christopher, Nicolas, Jordana, Shirin and Ra’mon are all safe.
Carol Hannah and Epperson received raves from the judges. Logan’s dress was referred to as a prom dress. Johnny’s dress was referred to as bridesmaid like – to which everyone gasped. Heidi Klum felt that Qristyl’s design made her model look 15 years older. Althea designed a 3 piece suit for her model and the judges loved it!!
Eperson, Carol Hannah and Johnny were excused from the runway and Althea was the winner of the challenge. It was down to Crystal and Logan.
Heidi referred to Crystal’s dress as boring and cheap. Logan’s dress also missed the mark. Crystal was sent home.
My own personal favorite was Epperson’s dress. It was innovative and definitely a stand-out dress. Who designed your favorite dress??
