Ryan Gosling Releasing Album
Who Knew?? I’ve seen movies with Ryan Gosling but never knew he can sing – or can he sing?? I haven’t heard his tunes yet – so the jury is still out on my opinion.
Gosling and his friend Zach Shields will release their debut album on Oct. 6, under the name Dead Man’s Bones, the music site Pitchfork Media reports. The self-titled disc will come out on indie label Anti Records, and feature contributions from the Silverlake Conservatory Children’s Choir, an L.A.-based children’s chorus.
Gosling stated,
“You know when you’re a kid and you get crayons and papers and just draw whatever you want and it’s just a bunch of messy lines, but to you it makes sense, and then they put it on the fridge,” Gosling said of the project at the time. “We wanted to get back to that place before we were trying to make the fridge. We wanted to work with people who hadn’t been affected in that way yet.”
