Survivor: Samoa Recap 10/8/09

Foa Foa, finally, wins immunity!! Tonight’s episode of Survivor:Samoa focused more on the Galu tribe than they have before, knowing some would be voted off.
Shambo returns to her camp after visiting Foa Foa where she felt welcomed and appreciated. Erik and John approach her, asking for clues to the hidden immunity idol because they think the idol might be in the same place in both camps. Shambo feels it will help her more than harm her to share the clues. Erik and John’s hunch was right, Erik secretly looked for and found the idol while 3 tribe members were at the reward challenge and the rest of the tribe was napping.
The tree mail requested three members from each tribe to go to the beach: Mick, Russell and Natalie for Foa Foa, and Russell, Shambo and Dave from Galu. Dave threw the winning ball in a bocce like game to win reward for his tribe. The reward was a pen of chickens.
Shambo, the country girl, said she would care for the chickens and before long she let one escape. Everyone on her tribe was pissed off.
The Foa Foa tribe is on edge and very cranky while Galu is rather peaceful with the exception of complaints about Yasmin never helping out.
The immunity challenge revolved around team work. The tribes were neck and neck throughout most of the challenge which involved stacking boxes and going through nets and a rope bridge. Ultimately, Foa Foa was victorious thanks to Monica dropping some boxes at the last minute.
Galu went to tribal counsel for the first time, a bit divided, with only Shambo and Russell supporting her cause, Yasmin is sent home.
Do you think it should have been Monica?
