Taylor Swift is Artist of the Year at the 2009 AMA’s – Photos
It’s been quite a year for Taylor Swift. Taylor has won five AMA Awards including the Artist of the Year.
Taylor was in a category with the likes of Michael Jackson, Eminem, Kings of Leon and Lady Gaga. Taylor is currently in London on tour so she wasn’t at the AMA Awards but she did accept the award via satellite. Taylor said the following,
“Music has never been ultimately about competition. To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson who we will miss and love forever is an unimagineable honor. I am sending my love to the Jackson family and Janet for reaching out to me the way that you have. And to the fans you have given me so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and I hope you guys have an awesome Thanksgiving. I miss and I love you.”
