The Biggest Loser Recap 11/10 Double Elimination

The biggest loserThe announcement of the Double Elimination had the contestants extremely tense in tonight’s episode of The Biggest Loser.

This week there was not only a yellow line, but also a red line, the person below the red line would go home – no vote, just gone.  The two players below the yellow line would get to plead their case and one would be voted off.  This new twist was a motivating force keeping the players very determined.  Trainers Jillian and Bob were very worried about Shay getting sent home because she wasn’t ready mentally or physically.

The contestants were given a Pop Challenge, the winner would receive a one pound advantage.  Allen wins the competition by taking 50 tennis balls off of a velcro wall and putting them in a barrel before the other players.

The Immunity Challenge is held at a circus where Alison says it’s clear that to make it here, they have to jump through a lot of hoops… and that is what they will be doing in this challenge. Eight hoops, with each of their colors, are then lowered from the ceiling to the floor. They will have to jump through their opponents hoop. When there are 100 points against them, they are out of the game. Last one standing wins the challenge.

Before the challenge starts Shay says Rudy told her if they are the last two standing, they will go against each other. They high five the agreement.  Shay is so upset when Rudy goes back on his word.  Rudy, Shay, and Danny were the last three in the game, when Rudy and Danny decided to team up on Shay and kick her out.  Ultimately, Rudy won the challenge and immunity.

Along with the Double Elimination was also a Double Last Chance Workout.  Bob’s last LCW is in a trapeze gym where he works the players into a sweaty puddle.  They are then greeted by Jillian for another very intense LCW.  Although intense, the contestants stayed motivated by the fear of falling below the red line.

It was a very emotional weigh-in and elimination.
