The Ghost Whisperer ReCap 11/6/09 – Devil’s Bargain

Melinda knows that Aiden is supposed to have powers that she doesn’t but fears what they can be when he tells her that he sees shadows without faces.

Jim loses a 19 year old patient, Ruby Grayson, during gallbladder surgery – after promising her that everything would be okay.  When he returns to the lockers he thinks he is being haunted when the lockers begin slamming but we soon find out that it is the other doctor, Dr.  Morgan, who is the person being haunted.

Dr. Morgan had an affair with a med student who goes missing.  The med students, Tina, visits Melinda and asks her not to judge her.  It turns out that she was a stripper and she used the cash from stripping to pay for med school.  Jennifer Love Hewitt gives the viewers the pleasure of performing an ultra-sexy pole dance.

Dr. Morgan fesses up that he was brought to the strip club by sales reps when he sees Tina giving a private dance to a client.  Morgan and Tina have an affair.  The president of the university, Josh Bedford, who also happens to be Eli’s boss is some how involved in all of this.  Bedford was originally thought to have paid off Tina to speak out about her affair – but that wasn’t the case.  Bedford starts speaking about the shadows to Eli.  And the mystery continues.

Dr. Morgan apologizes to Tina for getting involved with her.  Tina doesn’t want to cross over because she wants to protect both Morgan and Bedford.  Dr. Morgan encourages Tina to walk to the light – he wants to be good for her for once.

Bedford is receiving visits from the shadow and is doing everything they tell him to but is supposed to keep it all a secret.  With his mother in the hospital, the shadows tell Bedford she is going to die a slow, painful death because he shared secrets.

Every week I get more confused about the Ghost Whisperer.  Anyone else confused.  I’m not loving the direction the show is taking – what do you think??
